An established engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing Manchester team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take ownership of projects, work closely with clients and play an important role within a collaborative structural engineering team.

We Are Looking For A Senior Structural Engineer Who:

- Has strong experience working within a UK structural engineering consultancy;
- Is chartered or working towards chartership with the IStructE or ICE;
- Has experience designing structures in steel, concrete, timber and masonry;
- Is comfortable managing projects from concept through to completion;
- Can confidently liaise with clients, architects and contractors;
- Has experience supporting and mentoring junior engineers;
- Has the right to work in the UK;
- Is able to commute to Manchester on a hybrid basis.

As The Successful Senior Structural Engineer, You Will:

- Work on a varied portfolio of structural engineering projects;
- Take responsibility for projects through multiple stages of design and delivery;
- Produce and review structural calculations, designs and technical documentation;
- Attend client meetings and site visits;
- Work closely with architects, contractors and other members of the design team;
- Support and mentor graduate and junior engineers;
- Have the opportunity to develop towards project leadership and more senior positions within the business.
