An established engineering consultancy is looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join their Central London team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer looking to take a leading role across projects, develop key client relationships and contribute to the technical development of the wider team.

We Are Looking For A Principal Structural Engineer Who:

- Has significant experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy;
- Is chartered with the IStructE or ICE, or approaching chartership;
- Has strong technical experience designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry;
- Has experience leading structural projects from concept through to construction;
- Is confident managing clients, architects and other project stakeholders;
- Can oversee the technical work of engineers and technicians;
- Has experience mentoring and developing junior members of a structural team;
- Has the right to work in the UK;
- Is able to commute to Central London on a hybrid basis.

As The Successful Principal Structural Engineer, You Will:

- Lead the structural delivery of a variety of complex building projects;
- Take responsibility for projects from early concept design through to completion;
- Manage client relationships and attend key project and design meetings;
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians;
- Review calculations, drawings and structural design work;
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers through their professional development;
- Work closely with directors and senior leadership on project delivery and team development;
- Have the opportunity to progress further into senior leadership within the business.
