Mechatronics Design Expert - Medical Technology

Newton Colmore is working with a medical devices company based in Cambridgeshire and they are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to lead the design of next generation machines.

This exciting new role will give a Mechatronics Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on new inventions and design novel machines within the medical technology and biotechnology spaces.

Some of the company's flagship products include liquid handling machines and highly complex surgical robotic systems.

As a mechatronics design expert you will be charged with designing and developing novel solutions to medical devices products, within a multidisciplinary team, taking your ideas through different iterations until readying the technology for manufacture.

Your work will include designing intricate mechanisms while being responsible for the wider development of the overall system/machines, along side a multidisciplinary team.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have experience with designing and developing mechatronic systems with strong fundamentals to boot.

They are open on sector experience, with complex mechatronic work the priority, but any experience within medical technology or biotechnology would be highly valued.
