Job Title: General Operative
Location: Wakefield WF1
Hours: Either Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-1pm or Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm & Friday 8am-4pm.

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR EITHER SHIFT
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour with potential opportunity to increase £13.89 per hour


We’re hiring a General Operator on behalf of our clients manufacturing site in Wakefield. 

Role includes:

• Operating machinery and keeping production running smoothly
• Removing finished products from the line
• Packing, labelling, and completing basic paperwork
• Carrying out visual quality checks
• Reprocessing waste using the waste picker
• Cleaning machinery and maintaining a tidy work area
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to hit production targets

What we’re looking for:

• Previous machine‑operating or manufacturing experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work well in a team
