Applications are invited from suitably-experienced Speech & Language Therapists to join the Adult Acute and Community service in a Band 7 Advanced Specialist post on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The SLT team comprises; a Band 8A Clinical Lead, a Band 7 SLT, a Band 6 SLT (this post) and a Band 3 Assistant. 

You will be supported to manage a clinical caseload and provide a specialist service to adults with speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties in acute, rehabilitation, continuing care, and community settings (including Adult Disability) across the island of Guernsey

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The current Band 6 salary range is £47,860 to £64,615 plus an annual bonus of £1,747 a
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS or UK local authority service for annual leave and sick leave.

Person requirements:
Speech & Language Therapist with full HCPC registration 
At least one year post-registration experience in an Adult Inpatient or Community setting
Evidence of post graduate dysphagia training qualification or evidence of competencies reached during undergraduate degree training 
To hold a full driving licence
