About the role and school

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified) to join its Early Years team.

This role would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's development and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration and positive interactions.

The successful candidate will support children's early communication, language and social skills, encourage independence and help deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with a January start or the possibility of starting sooner.

Job Responsibilities

  Support children within the Early Years setting

  
  


• 
  

  Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities

  
  


• 
  

  Promote communication, language and early literacy development

  
  


• 
  

  Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions

  
  


• 
  

  Support children's learning in line with the EYFS framework

  
  


• 
  

  Observe children's progress and contribute to their development

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

  
  


• 
  

  Support daily routines and children's wellbeing

  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• 
  

  A relevant Level 3 childcare or Early Years qualification, or equivalent, is essential

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience in a Nursery or Early Years setting

  
  


• 
  

  Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development

  
  


• 
  

  A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to support children with varying developmental needs

  
  


• 
  

  Available to start in January or sooner
