Control Panel Wireman

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading Mechanical & Electrical workshop for a Temporary Control Panel Wireman role in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: Temporary
Rate: £23.00 per hour CIS
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch).

40 hours per week for the first month, then 45 hours per week (paid lunch included)
Overtime: Optional - time and a half on Saturdays (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) or evenings (4:30 PM - 7:00 PM)
Duration: Long-term, ongoing
Location: Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire
Type of Work: Control panel wiring and assembly in a leading Mechanical & Electrical workshop

Duties:

• Control panel assembly and wiring


• Marking, drilling and fixing electrical equipment to mounting plates


• Installing electrical components


• Wiring, numbering, crimping and terminating cables


• Working from technical drawings and schematics


• Preparing steel enclosures and fitting components


• Maintaining workshop quality and safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven control panel wiring experience


• Ability to read electrical drawings


• Experience with enclosures, relays, contactors, terminals and switchgear


• Safety boots required (other PPE provided)
