About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark, starting ASAP.

This full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education.

The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to deliver engaging, play-based learning activities, support children's individual development and help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The school is a welcoming and community-focused primary school situated in Southwark, serving a diverse local community with a strong commitment to inclusion, creativity and providing children with the best possible start to their education.

The school places particular emphasis on developing children's confidence, independence and communication skills through a broad and engaging curriculum.

Within the Early Years provision, children are encouraged to explore, develop curiosity and build positive relationships through purposeful play and structured learning activities.

Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

This EYFS Teaching Assistant opportunity would particularly suit a caring, proactive and enthusiastic individual with previous experience working within a Nursery or Reception classroom.
