We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of new subsea production equipment, particularly Subsea Christmas Tree (XT) systems.

You will take ownership of product development from initial customer requirements and concept design through detailed engineering, testing and qualification, working with international engineering and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of subsea production equipment and XT systems.
Create and review 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, calculations and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Manage product development, testing, qualification and system integration activities.
Ensure designs meet customer specifications and relevant industry standards.
Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
Manage project schedules, budgets, technical risks and stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance, review engineering work and mentor other engineers.
Key Skills
A degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in mechanical design engineering for subsea production systems.
Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, particularly Subsea XT systems.
Experience creating 3D models and detailed engineering drawings.
Excellent knowledge of CREO, Teamcenter and PLM systems.
Strong understanding of GDandT and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
Experience managing engineering projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Strong technical leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
