Are you practical, reliable and confident with repairs? Envision Education is looking for a School Caretaker in Hertfordshire to help keep a school safe, secure and well maintained.

This role would suit someone with experience in caretaking, facilities maintenance or general building repairs.

  Carry out minor repairs, DIY and general site maintenance.

  
  


• 
  

  Complete routine health and safety checks and report faults.

  
  


• 
  

  Keep buildings and outdoor areas clean, tidy and safe.

  
  


• 
  

  Support opening, locking up and school site security.

  
  


• 
  

  Move furniture, manage deliveries and set up for school events.

  
  

• 
  

  Experience in caretaking, maintenance or a similar practical role.

  
  


• 
  

  A full, valid driving licence is essential.

  
  


• 
  

  Good DIY skills and an awareness of health and safety.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

  
  


• 
  

  School experience is desirable, but not essential.

  
  


• 
  

  An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
