This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical maintenance engineer with welding experience to join a growing engineering department and work across a variety of production machinery.

Your Job As A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Will Include:

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery.

* Mechanical fault-finding, breakdown repairs and general maintenance.

* MIG welding, fabrication and modification work on machinery and equipment.

* Supporting production operations to minimise downtime and maintain equipment reliability.

* Working alongside a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to keep the factory running efficiently.

As A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer You Will Have:

* Background as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter or similar.

* Experience carrying out mechanical maintenance within a factory or manufacturing environment.

* MIG welding experience is essential.

* Experience with fabrication, machinery repairs and mechanical fault-finding.

* A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Live commutable to Haverhill.
