We are recruiting for an experienced Renewables Electrician to join a growing electrical and renewable energy business based in Bridgend, South Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified electrician who already has experience in Solar PV, Battery Storage and electrical installations and wants to develop their career within the expanding renewable energy sector.

Working across domestic and commercial projects, you'll be involved in installing, inspecting, testing and commissioning electrical and renewable energy systems, including EV charging points, solar installations and battery storage solutions.

As a Renewables Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

  Installing and commissioning Solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Installing, inspecting and repairing EV charging equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Carrying out domestic and commercial electrical installations.

  
  


• 
  

  Completing electrical inspection, testing and commissioning work.

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out necessary repairs.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring installations meet current electrical regulations and safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Working independently and alongside other electricians to deliver projects efficiently.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

  
  

You must hold ALL of the following qualifications and experience to be considered:

• 
  

  Valid ECS Gold Card.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified electrician.

  
  


• 
  

  NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent.

  
  


• 
  

  18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

  
  


• 
  

  Level 3 Inspection and Testing qualification.

  
  


• 
  

  Level 3 Solar PV qualification or recognised equivalent.

  
  


• 
  

  Level 3 Battery Storage qualification or recognised equivalent.

  
  

Desirable:

• 
  

  Level 3 EV Charging qualification or recognised equivalent.

  
  

You should also be confident working independently, capable of completing installations to a high standard and comfortable working across both domestic and commercial environments.
