IT Service Manager (Monitoring & Observability) - Financial Services - Bioggio / Hybrid

Are you an experienced Observability & Event Management Service Manager looking to take ownership of business-critical services within a highly regulated financial environment? This is an opportunity to define the strategy and future direction of observability and event management capabilities, driving modernisation across a complex, large-scale technology landscape.

Our client is a leading financial services organisation.

In this role, you will work alongside engineering, operations and business stakeholders to improve service reliability, operational insight and overall business value across applications, infrastructure, networks and cloud environments.

You will own these services end to end, defining the strategy, roadmap and ongoing development of the organisation's observability and event management capabilities.

You will be accountable for service performance, KPIs and SLAs, governance, risk and compliance, as well as the management of external vendors and budgets, ensuring services remain resilient, well governed and aligned with business needs.

A major focus will be introducing greater automation, event intelligence and AI-driven observability, improving event correlation, reducing noise and strengthening operational analytics.

You will champion continuous improvement across hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring monitoring coverage supports fast detection, effective incident response and measurable service outcomes through well-defined SLOs.

The ideal candidate will bring experience leading enterprise IT services or observability operations, with a proven track record in service strategy, service ownership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement.

Strong knowledge of monitoring and event management platforms such as Dynatrace, or a comparable enterprise platform, is essential, alongside experience with ITSM processes, vendor management and budget oversight.

Experience in a regulated financial services environment will be highly valuable.

Salary: CHF 100,000 - CHF 130,000
