GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Technical Specialist (Sr) maintains core product line building code compliance, ensures new products and systems are code compliant, participates in internal product and system development teams, answers project specific questions, reviews project drawings to make recommendations, works with third party testing facilities and is heavily involved in industry organizations that help shape industry standards.
This position has a significant focus on supporting Dryvit EIFS products and systems in Canada.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recommend and approve Product Line application policies within technical literature.
Answers project-specific questions.
Review project drawings and make recommendations.
Coordinate 3rd party testing certification/approvals.
Recommend project or product specific testing, interpret results, and make recommendations based on finding.
High level of understanding of testing methods/techniques for Laboratory/Field Testing.
Present a comprehensive understanding of testing methods to confirm varying compatibility among materials.
Develop and review of product literature, application instruction, and the maintenance and updating of field training manuals.
Comprehensive understanding of applicable Building Code requirements related to EIFS and other types of façade systems.
Write, review, and make recommendations for letters of installation and job parameters along with detailed drawings to help make the sale.
Formally respond to inquiries in written form based on sound engineering judgement.
Provide technical training to internal and external customers focused on façade systems, code requirements, test methods, and application of relevant Tremco systems.
Effectively collaborate with internal and designated external customers.
Assure product performance through reviewing and making recommendations for proper use and field application.
Master assigned core product line technology to include writing policy.
Actively able to train/mentor new employees.
Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate a high level of understanding of building science principles.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in science, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field required; High School Diploma or GED and 15+ years related experience required, in lieu of college degree.
EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of Civil Engineering, Architectural, Building Envelope, Building Science, Construction Consulting, Construction industry or similar experience.
Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in the field (job-site-related experience).
Expertise with Canadian codes related to EIFS, system fire performance, air/water resistive barrier systems.
Strong background in understanding building science principles and performing related wall assembly analyses for a diversity of wall systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
OHSA 10 Preferred but not required
Engineer-in-Training Certification Preferred but not required
Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect Preferred but not required
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience with Auto CAD (preferred) Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
Experience with hygrothermal modeling software preferred, but not required (WUFI, THERM, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective team player.
Self-motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10% in the North America region.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $110,854 and $138,570.

General Description:
The Program Administrator is responsible for supporting the National Account Team Lead and other Program Managers in a behind-the-scenes type of role.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business.

As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the WTI Foreman is focused on safety, crew management and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned to them.

It is the responsibility of the WTI Commercial Foreman to deliver timely and the highest quality service to all our WTI customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
This includes responsibility for conducting safety meetings, complying with governmental regulations, reporting and investigating accidents, and planning site-specific job safety procedures including:
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with all onsite project personnel (Sales Rep, Customer, WTI Supt & Crew, Etc)
Inspect and ensure safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit to the Supervisors as applicable.
Ensure all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project.
This includes but is not limited to communication with:
Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule
WTI crew members to discuss scope of work and daily tasks
The customer prior to arrival, upon arrival, and upon completion of daily work
WTI Supervisor on safety, schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc.
Efficient project management to include managing crew start and end times, production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently completing the assigned project.
Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents.
Complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep and information will be included in daily project status reports.
These items will include, detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recording daily.
Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas.
This responsibility includes job start-up, job execution in accordance to contract specifications, job shut-down, and manpower scheduling, all consistent with the planned costs of the job.
Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands.
This responsibility also includes laying off personnel, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters relative to employees.
Ensure that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
Responsible for the tracking and monitoring project inventory.
Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image.
Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc.
Manage, monitor and document performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work related issues.
Consult with WTI Commercial Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
Contributes to operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer.
Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems.
Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Supervisor.
Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
Coordinates and monitors performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate.
Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager.
Maintains ethical business conduct.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years progressive experience in a similar role to include leading teams and technical solutions, training, troubleshooting, etc.
Must be thoroughly familiar with standard façade construction including, masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster and other forms of facade systems and how to properly repair them using Tremco CPG Materials.

The Sr.
Chemist position is an advanced level position responsible for idea generation, experimental design, formulation optimization, and commercializing new products in the wood protection and preservation industry.
Candidates are welcomed from adjacent chemical fields, such as synthesis, materials, polymer, and formulation science, who are interested in directing that experience towards innovating the wood science field.
This position is on-site in a state-of-the-art research center that is a part of the RPM Industrial Coatings Group.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and optimize new and existing formulations to achieve customer-specified properties through adjustment of raw materials and processing parameters, with a focus on commercially successful products.
Design and implement laboratory-scale formulation studies, stability assessments, and application testing to meet efficacy and quality guidelines.
Investigate and solve formulation challenges for existing products to meet manufacturing or customer needs.
Evaluate and select raw materials based on performance, cost, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
Support technology transfer from laboratory development to pilot and commercial scale, including scale-up, process optimization, manufacturing support, troubleshooting, and commercialization activities.
Independently define technical approaches, develop experimental plans, prioritize resources, interpret results, and make data-driven recommendations with limited day-to-day supervision.

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with formulation development, materials development, or applied chemical R&D.
Knowledge of wood structure, wood degradation mechanisms, preservatives, coatings, or wood protection technologies is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated experience designing and executing laboratory experiments and interpreting experimental data.
Experience transitioning laboratory formulations to pilot or commercial scale, including scale-up, process optimization, manufacturing support, and technology transfer is preferred.

WTI Supervisor on safety, schedule changes, project and crew updates, etc.
Efficient project management to include managing crew start and end times, production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently completing the assigned project.
Complete the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents.
Complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep and information will be included in daily project status reports.
These items will include, detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recording daily.
Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas.
This responsibility includes job start-up, job execution in accordance to contract specifications, job shut-down, and manpower scheduling, all consistent with the planned costs of the job.
Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands.
This responsibility also includes laying off personnel, disciplinary action, employee assistance, and handling union matters relative to employees.
Ensure that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
Responsible for the tracking and monitoring project inventory.
Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image.
Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e.
OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc.
Manage, monitor and document performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work related issues.
Consult with WTI Commercial Supervisor and Human Resources as needed.
Contributes to operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer.
Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems.
Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Supervisor.
Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
Coordinates and monitors performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate.
Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager.
Maintains ethical business conduct.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years progressive experience in a similar role to include leading teams and technical solutions, training, troubleshooting, etc.
Must be thoroughly familiar with standard façade construction including, masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster and other forms of facade systems and how to properly repair them using Tremco CPG Materials.

The Construction Manager Junior Associate position will train in many departments within Roofing and WTI while engaged in a degree seeking program through RISE.
The following areas will be included in training as well as any others deemed appropriate: WTI Field - WTI Field Resources to learn installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as safe operations of tools of the trade.
This position requires hands on; roof or construction site activity. General Contracting - learn and assist in project management duties including but not limited to managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc), participating in all proposals, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
