JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions:
Remove and properly dispose of liquid and solid material and material build-up from portable industrial containers.
Perform cleaning of portable containers which includes cleaning of the interiors of containers with chemical cleaning agents to remove products using shovels, squeegees, scrapers, or other means as required to prepare the container for future production operations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns that arise during the cleaning process. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the proper containment and disposal of non-hazardous waste. Perform housekeeping and safety related tasks (i.e., work area cleanup). Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents and material shortages immediately to the Production Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED: additional qualifications will be a plus. Minimum 6 months' experience in a manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of machine equipment used in batch processing. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents, Standard Operating Procedures, and SDS sheets. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures, including utilizing proper personal protective equipment. Ability to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass standard eye exam (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing. 3 - 4 years' experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role
Part-Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician
Experience in assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Payroll experience
Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Experience working with an ERP system managing accounts (AR, AP, GL) and stock (PO, GR, WMS) would be an advantage

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
Assist in the preparation of monthly management and year end statutory accounts
Manage month-end close activities and post month end journals
Supervise and assist in accounts payable function, including GRN and invoice posting, purchases close off, supplier reconciliations and payment runs
Responsible for weekly payroll processing
Weekly and Monthly KPI reporting
Intrastat, VAT and CRO filing
Oversee Sales Ledger and bank reconciliation functions
