The brokerage is growing fast, which means more clients, more complex cases, and the need for an experienced Claims Handler to join their Leeds office.
Here's what you'd be walking into:
A varied caseload of around 300 claims at any one time - some resolved in weeks, others running for over a year
Exposure to a wide mix of claims across commercial lines (property, liability, fleet, etc.)
A tight-knit, chatty team that pulls together to support each other, without the corporate politics
Flexibility to work from home one day per week, with a base in their Leeds office

Previous claims handling experience, ideally across multiple lines
Background in a brokerage preferred, though insurer experience will also be considered
The ability to manage a busy workload and keep cases moving - whether it's a quick settlement or a claim that runs over months
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a client-first approach

We are looking for a skilled Wheeled Loading Shovel Driver to join our site operations team.
You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the loading shovel to move, load, and manage materials on site, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the wheeled loading shovel safely and efficiently.
Load vehicles and feed processing equipment with materials.
Carry out daily safety inspections and report any faults or defects.
Ensure materials are handled and stored according to site procedures.
Work closely with the site team to maintain efficient work flow.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
Skills & Qualifications
Valid CPCS or NPORS licence for Wheeled Loading Shovel.
Previous experience operating a loading shovel in waste, recycling, quarry, or construction environments.
Good understanding of site safety and operational procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Flexible attitude with the ability to support other site duties as required.
Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm

Complete job reports after every job.
Allocate all materials used against the relevant job.
Ensure all appropriate PTW’s, isolations, risk assessments, and method statements are in place before starting tasks.
Initiate “Stop the Job” if unsafe practices are observed.
Provide out-of-hours service when required.
Actively promote and progress company QHSE policies.
Assist other divisions when required.
Maintain regular communication with management, crews, clients, and suppliers (both verbal and written).
Qualifications and requirements for the Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineer:
Qualified Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer with relevant onshore/offshore support experience.
Experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Strong professional and verbal communication skills.
Mature, professional approach with patience and attention to detail.
Must be able to drive a lorry up to 12 tonnes, or be willing to obtain the relevant license.
