Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
Carrying out visual & dimension inspection of machined components, using a variety of measuring tools & instruments (including CMM & Faro Arm)
Raise, investigate and support with Machining NCRs
Accurate maintenance & storage of reports, investigations and data
The Quality Inspector will:
Hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or similar)
Have previous experience working in a relevant role, ideally within a heavy engineering environment
Working hours of the Quality Inspector:
The core working hours of this position are detailed below (rotating AM/PM shifts):
AM Shift: 40 Hours per week - 18% shift allowance
o Monday to Friday 06:30 to 14:30
PM Shift: 34 Hours per week - 18% shift allowance
o Monday to Thursday 14:30 to 22:00
o Friday: 14:30 to 18:30
