You will inherit books of an established clinic where the principal dentist is retiring after more than 20 years.
This is a full-time position 4 to 5 days per week, with no weekend work.
The practice is open from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility on days and times for you.
This allows you to explore Geraldton, which is a coastal community with beautiful beaches and scenery.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:
Nurturing student's social and communication skills, fostering an inclusive and harmonious school community.
Working alongside the teaching team to establish and maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to support students with SEN.
Facilitating student's access to the curriculum, adapting / differentiating materials as necessary.
Establishing strong partnerships with parents and other colleagues to ensure a co-ordinated approach to support.
Monitoring and tracking student's progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in any capacity is beneficial, experience working with students with SEN is highly advantageous.
- A genuine passion to work in the field of education and supporting students with special educational needs.
- The ability to work collaboratively as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a supportive team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students.
- Demonstrating patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach.
- Adding value to both the wider community of the school and forming positive relationships with staff and students alike.
