Position: Health and Safety Manager

My client is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for projects based in Ireland and across Europe with travel abroad once a month.
Health and Safety Manager Responsibilities:
Manage the health & safety responsibilities of the company in an effective and efficient manner in the areas / sites allocated to you
Be fully familiar with all aspects of Health, Safety & Welfare at Work legislation and with General and Construction Regulations.
Operate and maintain the company Safe-T- Cert Safety Management System to the highest possible grade achievable.
Ensure that Company, in every area/ site allocated to you, meets health, safety and welfare at work requirements as set out by current legislation.
Participate in the safety training requirements of the company and in the maintenance and update of the register of employee safety training and skills.
Inform senior management on a regular basis of current and future training requirements.
Provide technical assistance in the area of occupational health & safety.
Analyse and identify areas of hazard and recommend and implement solutions following senior management approval.
Regularly inspect all places of work and prepare and issue detailed reports of such inspections.
Receive and respond to employee and site operative complaints, queries, and suggestions in relation to health, safety, and welfare at work.
Prepare necessary communications and support to managers, employees, safety representatives, and other stakeholders in the provision of information on safety and health issues.
Provide technical assistance on the development of safety procedures, safety manuals, work rules, policies, and procedures.
Conduct, coordinate, and/or assist in the investigation of accidents and/or injuries and work to encourage safe working habits and environments.
Conduct an overview of all Sub contractor's information including managing a register of sub-contractors, and review their safety statements, risk assessment and insurance documentations.
Such other duties in the area of safety management as necessitated by changing business needs.
Ensure that the company directors are immediately informed of significant events such as errors, disputes, accidents, delays, thefts, enforcement notices, prohibition notices, or such other events as might affect the progress of the works or expose the company to risk of damage or loss in any of its activities.
Ensure that all documentation is filed and maintained in the standard company format.
Take care of company equipment supplied for your use and ensure that it is not misused or abused in any manner.
Maintain a tidy workplace and office.
Be aware that you are a representative of the company and that it is company policy to treat all persons - employees, sub-contractors, design team, general public - with respect and courtesy at all times.
Health and Safety Manager Requirements:
A third level qualification in Health & Safety.
3 years + relevant experience.
Health and Safety experience within a construction environment.
A background in QA/QC would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills / team player with hands on approach to resolving issues.
Be methodical, logical, efficient and highly organised.
Strong IT and communication skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

With the support of the Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for the Month-End process including balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, prepayments and updating of the fixed asset register.
Responsible for producing Monthly Management Accounts, including full commentary on stock reporting, performance and insights, with an objective of achieving a completed set within 5 days of month end.
Producing accurate monthly and quarterly budgets, cashflow & sales forecasts in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
Identifying KPI's throughout the business and implementing weekly flash performance reports
Extracting data from financial and non-financial systems to conduct in-depth variance analysis into Costs, Margins, Trends and Budgets
Presenting data insights to non-financial professionals with proposed efficiencies to improve margins & profit, and to promote LEAN methodologies.
Responsible for increasing financial awareness throughout the business and the importance of making data driven decisions.
Reviewing all supplier partnerships to identify cost savings & strategic purchasing to improve profitability/margins.
THE PERSON
Ideally fully CIMA, ACA or ACCA Qualified, however, candidates who are Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience will be considered.
Must have experience in a similar role, it's most likely to suit someone that has held a Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Finance Analyst role, or similar
Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics or closely linked industry is essential.
Must have experience of producing Monthly Management Accounts, Budgets and Forecasts
Strong Analytical Skills and able to use MS Excel to an Intermediate or Advanced Level is essential.
A driven and ambitious individual who is keen to make a positive impact and add value to a rapidly growing business.
Ideally experience of leading small team, however, an individual that can demonstrate leadership qualities would be considered.
Any experience or knowledge of with LEAN Methodologies would be an advantage but this is not essential requirement.
Experience with computerised accounting systems is essential, and any experience of working with an ERP system would be beneficial.

Registered General Nurse, Lincoln - £250 BONUS!Opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within an Inpatient setting, Based across Lincolnshire - Multiple locations avaliable!The team sits within a inpatient setting with the role predominately planing the delivery of patient care and take responsibility for implementing and evaluating that care, using an appropriate nursing model.
You will provide advice and education to patients, staff and learners within the directorate as required and develop communication networks across specialities and throughout the multidisciplinary team.
As part of this role you will be able to prioritise their own workload and of those working with them such as learners and Healthcare Assistants.
When in charge of the ward know how to delegate what staff to what duties and ensure the smooth running of the ward.
You will know how to impart news of a distressing nature to patients and relatives.
TYou will also carry out nursing care to the highest possible standard according to Trust Policies and Practice and Clinical Guidelines.
This requires a thorough understanding of policies and guidance related to for example: infection control, hygiene and individualised patient needs.This role is to commence ASAP and will be full time working across 7 days with the shifts being a mix of Earlies, Lates, Long Days & Nights
The hourly rate for this role: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 20:00: £21 Per hour Saturday /Nights: £26 Per Hour Sunday / Bank Holidays: £31 Per HourThe Benefits of working with Service Care Solutions: We offer a £250 sign up bonus for any new nurses that register with our agency!
