Are you a Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a well-paid role within a modern, automated FMCG manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for an experienced engineer to join a fast-paced production facility operating cutting-edge processing and packaging equipment.

This role would suit engineers from food, beverage, bakery, dairy, pharmaceutical, packaging or wider FMCG manufacturing backgrounds.
The Role
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging machinery, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
Reactive breakdown maintenance across production and packaging lines
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Electrical fault finding and repairs
Mechanical maintenance and component replacement
PLC fault finding and diagnostics
Continuous improvement activities
Equipment reliability and performance enhancements
Supporting installation and commissioning projects
Ensuring health, safety and food safety standards are maintained

Knowledge of three-phase motors and drives
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
Proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving

Person Specification:
Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
Food preparation and food service experience.
Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
Experience in staff training and coaching.
Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
