Position Summary:
Travels to field job sites giving routine guidance and assistance with job startups, coating inspection and problems encountered on the job.
Assists in routine in-house work such as product evaluations, equipment maintenance, panel preparation, and other duties necessary for normal function of the department.
Essential Functions:
Preparation of panels prior to coating.
Have a good understanding of the basic operation of hand tools, power tools, abrasive blast cabinet, and pin welder.
To include minor maintenance of same. Provide documentation for panels which will be tested.
Spray nuclear testing orders upon certification. Starting position in Field Service, will handle routine field jobs within capabilities. Contact customers/salesmen to gather pertinent data prior to field trips. Demonstrate proper use of mixing equipment, airless and conventional spray equipment, etc., to apply Carboline products in the assigned divisions. Interpret surface preparation standards per specifications. Demonstrate use and techniques involved with inspections equipment. Train supervisors, inspectors, and painters in the above technical areas. Assist in application of new or revised product evaluations, new equipment evaluations. Carry out procedures as defined in the Technical Service Procedures Manual. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-year college Chemistry or minimum 5 years Technical Service experience.
Valid driver's license.
Valid Passport NACE Certified CIP preferred Level 1, NACE Level 2 or NACE Level 3, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires occasional physical activity.
May require lifting up to 75 lbs.
on occasion.
May require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Be able to climb and meet the requirements of a 1A Ladder.
Occasional exposure to various chemicals.
Will require travel of 50% plus, including nighttime and weekends.
Must be able to pass a respirator fit test & maintain respirator requirement.

Job Description:

Must be available to work Mon-Thurs 5:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Some overtime may be required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have at least 6 months- 1-year previous powder coating experience or auto body painting or liquid paint spraying
Position requires washing, sanding, and parts prep
Preferred skills include working knowledge of powder coating paint solvents, sealants, metal finishing techniques
Attention to detail and quality
Task oriented with the ability to follow processes and procedures
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Manual dexterity and basic experience with hand tools including metal finishing equipment such as disk grinder, orbital and belt sanders, sealing tools, powder application guns and more
Manufacturing experience preferred

Holt Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company in Poole to recruit a Category Manager to join the Category Management team on a full-time, permanent and on-site only basis.
As a Category Manager your responsibilities will include to:
- Manage supplier relationships, including scoping, right-sizing, risk, ESG, and compliance.
- Build strategic partnerships to secure competitive pricing and rebate agreements.
- Lead annual category strategy planning to drive GP improvement, savings, and consolidation.
- Analyse and reduce slow-moving stock and backlog.
- Negotiate pricing and track savings against personal and team KPIs.
- Identify and scale opportunities for Own Brand product growth.
- Deliver new product developments from R&D to launch, managing data sheets, IP, and quality control.
- Collaborate with ESG team to align suppliers and products with sustainability goals.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product data, testing, and compliance information across systems.
- Support key customer meetings and build relationships to unlock new opportunities.
- Contribute to tenders, including pricing and compliance documentation.
