GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).
Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
Understand production instructions.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal education required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: No prior experience or training.

We need a dependable and resourceful engineer to assist with miscellaneous projects in support of revamping the test wall and commissioning the fire lab for FY27..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with project management of the fire lab
Work through commissioning our test wall.
Assist with the relocation of the test wall to the fire lab location
Assist with the R-value chamber commissioning.
Document and communicate results to team leaders and managers.
Adhere to pre-determined testing timeframes.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Rising sophomore or junior attending advanced studies in chemical or mechanical engineering or a related field at a credited university or college.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Some project experience preferred, but willing to train.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Dependable

Microsoft Office Suite.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary purpose of this role is to support research and development activities by assisting with batch production to support water-based coating development and data generation.
The intern will contribute to laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis to help improve product performance and expand the organization's technical understanding of formulation impacts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and mix chemical formulations under supervision.
Conduct laboratory testing and evaluations of monomers.
Record, analyze, and report experimental data.
Maintain accurate lab documentation and follow safety protocols.
Assist in general lab organization and material preparation.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field of study at an accredited college or university.
Organic Chemistry 2 coursework and polymer chemistry classes preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Experience within laboratories and manufacturing environments is preferred/encouraged but not required.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic laboratory skills (mixing, measuring, handling chemicals).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
