GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Accountable for all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies, procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
To enforce and develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for plant operations including oversight of supervisors and administrative staff.
Plant areas may include: Maintenance, production, shipping, and quality control.
Understand and optimize use of budget, remaining accountable to the plant's financial performance.
Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Develops strategies that ensure effective achievement of Lean Manufacturing objectives.
Conducts annual performance evaluations and provides ongoing performance feedback, maintaining clear and timely documentation.
Works with senior management to ensure manufacturing goals are consistent with strategic direction.
Ensure order processing matters are filled to their entirety.
Fulfill compliance reporting and plan yearly maintenance, inspections, audits, and projects.
Optimize inventory and organization, including oversight of parts, supplies and raw materials.
Demonstrates acommitment to diversity in hiring and promotion decisions.
Analyze maintenance status reports and assist with machine troubleshooting, ensuring that all machines meet safety operating standards.
Oversee the plant Health & Safety Program.
Ensure safety standards are understood and met.
Recommend and work in conjunction with Director on plant capital expenditures.
Review and implement new procedures and processes.
Coordinate with Quality Control & R&D on the development of new products and testing protocols.
Arrange outside services and contractors as needed.
Accountable to ensuring appropriate reporting of: Incidents, production concerns, customer inquiries, etc.
Assist with internal troubleshooting/investigating customer complaints and inquiries.
Ensures plant operates within compliance of all legislative, regulatory, safety, and company mandates.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience required The following is preferred: Previous experience in a Plant Manager role Experience with shift operations
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
SAP (Preferred) Lean Six Sigma (Required) Ability to assess a situation and mediate the issue to ensure a constructive outcome.(Required) Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
(Required) Knowledge of safety, environmental, and workplace regulations.
(Preferred) Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation skills.
(Preferred) Computer Literacy: Ability to apply excel, word, and SAP applications to daily job responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Sr Manager of Sales Training will be in charge of supporting for Rust-Oleum US and Rust-Oleum Canada sales force by conducting and developing sales, product and developmental programs that will improve sales, developmental, technical knowledge and skills of the people being trained.
This role will also include the training of customers in product and sales technique.
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness. Research, evaluate, and suggest training programs to EVP. Evaluate sales talent and work to coach new skills. Work cross functionally to help develop the sales team. Grow and develop the sales training team's skill set. Conduct specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors or customer representatives. Conduct alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen. Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials. Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures. Conduct orientation and training for employees or customers. Monitor training costs to ensure budget is not exceeded, and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures. Understand and apply adult learning principles; utilize blended learning methodology. Create and facilitate product training for customers and employees.
Essential Job Functions:
Training a more effective and efficient sales force and customer base by creating and delivering training.
To include (but not limited to) sales training, hands-on product training, product training and skill development training.
To be delivered in a classroom style training, virtual classroom, hands-on product training, and online learning. On the job field training by evaluating and improving sales skills of our sales associates in the field, customer visits, and coaching sessions.
Provide new hire onboarding on products, systems, culture, and necessary processes and procedures required to be successful in their new role.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Bachelor's Degree, business or related field preferred 5+ years in a sales role 5+ years in the coatings industry Travel 25%-30% of the time to include, but not limited to meetings, training, field work days.

New Product & Design Engineer will have the responsibility for design, development and testing of application of new product concepts for our new technology development and existing products.
You will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure that the designs meet market needs, cost targets, and production requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work independently to initiate innovative and functional product designs and manage the design projects related to new product development across all Rust-Oleum product categories. Participate in research of internal and external voice of customer meetings, analyze customer needs and insights, and translate them into value-added design solutions. Design, prototype, and test product design to ensure quality, functionality, durability, manufacturability and correlate chemical and physical material to consumer application and use, cost, safety and environmental impact. REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Material and Mechanical Engineering or other related fields. 2 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for various wipes of tools and delivery systems for coatings, cleaners and other consumer and industrial products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components Experience working with tooling manufacturers both domestically and internationally. A passion for design, engineering, problem solving, with critical thinking and creativity. Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team from project concept through commercialization. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills including good special acuity for design. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to travel as required.

GENERAL SUMMARY Furniture & Cabinet Wood Coatings Directly manage daily service requirements for assigned account(s)/territory.
Assure proper and effective coverage of all assigned account(s).
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Ensure quality of coatings Analyze customer issues and troubleshoot technical problems. Directly responsible for all service activities within assigned territory/account(s) including: On-site product testing and refinement Customer personnel training and development as directed. Product and process issue resolution Process documentation in a timely manner and as directed.
Process auditing Other assigned service requirements as directed/assigned. Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and timely support. Provide appropriate and regular reporting of activities and accomplishments to Director of Strategic Initiatives and others as directed. Provide professional representation for the company at trade shows and with industry organizations and attend company functions as directed. Other duties will be performed within RPM WFG or customer corporate, lab, and distribution facility sites.
Appropriate personal protective equipment is provided to always enable proper health and safety precautions.
HMIS and MSDS guidelines must be followed when working with raw materials and coatings to assure safety.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

The Sales Trainer is an important member of the Sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Craft impactful training programs, materials and presentations. Produce physical and digital educational material (e.g.
videos and case studies) Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to ensure consistency and alignment across all training programs. Identify needs for sales skills improvement.
Master and teach our sales process. Evaluate sales skills and abilities of sales associates through ride-alongs and customer visits.
Coach and reinforce the sales process. Serve as a resource to the entire sales team. Onboard new sales associates with appropriate product, process and system training. Organize and coordinate in-person and virtual training events.
Consult with employees' supervisors to report on developmental needs and training opportunities.
Develop individual coaching plans. Collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses. Maintain updated records of training material, curricula and costs.

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma Bachelor's degree (preferred) Professional Development Credits/Certifications in Industry (preferred) 3+ years proven work experience in outside sales. Excellent knowledge of MS Office Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive professional relationships
