Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Technical Specialist to promote and sell concrete block admixtures within the construction sector.
This is a remote opportunity, ideal for an individual who thrives on combining technical knowledge of concrete admixtures with strong sales skills.
This role requires understanding both the technical aspects of the products and the needs of the clients to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the concrete block industry. Manage key customer accounts and build long-term relationships. Provide product demonstrations, technical advice, and training to clients on the use and benefits of admixtures. Prepare and present product proposals and negotiate contracts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Chemistry, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in sales or technical support within the construction materials industry, preferably with concrete admixtures or similar products. Strong understanding of the manufactured concrete (block, pavers and mcp) process and the role of admixtures. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry trends is a plus.
Preferred Skills: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Technical certifications in concrete technology or related fields. Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer
Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be a part of Carboline Global Continuous Improvement Team supporting the development and execution of continuous improvement projects at the Green Bay manufacturing facility.
The person in this role will serve as a key resource to support plant optimization efforts regarding capacity, cost, safety, quality, and environmental improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
4 years Chemistry, Engineering degree or Minium of 3+ years equivalent experience in a CI role Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.
Essential Functions:
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies and ability to teach and model them.
Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. Ability to influence, mentor, and coach to get results through others. Collaborates with operations manager and/or plant engineering on modification of equipment and processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency and quality. Works together with R&D, engineering, and plant resources to develop and implement continuous improvement projects. Collaborates with R&D on process development - Including reviewing and approving proposed manufacturing procedures for new products. Provides technical support and consultation to the Quality Control department.
Specifically, regarding recovery plans for off-specification, obsolete, and problem finished goods. Monitors the consistency of production using SQC, SPC, or other appropriate techniques. Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Leadership role in effort to recertify and reclaim Non-Conforming material.
Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Continuously challenging the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in our operating areas. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. Selection and development of tools and fixtures for improvements Perform additional duties as assigned. Commitment to the Company's Safety and Quality programs.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Manager (Laboratory) leverages expertise to execute and direct projects across technology platforms while striving to improve efficiencies of involved processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and supervise product or system testing that supports intradepartmental and cross functional business initiatives.
Responsible for developing and managing the department's budget.
Lead multiple project activities through a defined testing process.
Oversee the design of experiments to evaluate and optimize the performance attributes of various technologies/chemistries.
Understand process capability, design selection criteria, and regulatory requirements needed to support third party certification, iterative product development, and market focused product evaluations.
Presents information instructionally, demonstratively, and persuasively to Influence tactical and strategic discussions amongst peers and management effectively.
Assures and validates proper documentation of responsible technical and/or experimental activities.
Explores conceptual ideas relating to the refinement of test protocols to improve process efficiency or the creation of new processes to support product development and/or regulatory demands.
Guide, coach, and mentor direct reports, both Supervisors and individual contributors, in achieving defined goals while providing developmental opportunities.
Collaboratively engages stakeholders to guide development or overcome challenges.
Acts as a liaison between third party test facilities (UL, FM, etc.) and the company.
Excellent presentation skills for tours.
Oversees maintenance of all equipment.
