Appropriate forklift and Raymond operating skills.

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements as well as to ensure equipment reliability. Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes. Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on the filling lines by Pareto analysis of OEE data and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime. Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks. Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.

Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. As our Machine Operator you are to package paint and related products by operating, setting up, adjusting, and performing QC checks while tending to machines/hand fills to package paint in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner, according to specifications. Here's what you can expect every day: Inspect and examine products for quality, packaging accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects. Change over equipment, adjust equipment, or otherwise adjust machines to improve equipment performance and quality. Set and adjust speed, temperature, product flow, and positions and tolerances of equipment. Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be filled, production times, stock specifications, BOM's, and SKU sequences. Monitor filling equipment to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Operate equipment at most efficient speed to ensure proper quality and output. Responsibility for the equipment performance, efficient changeovers, operation, and preventative maintenance. Required Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. Experience with CNC Operations preferred. Test samples of materials or products to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment. Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times. Operate or tend blending equipment to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials such as chemicals, color pigments, or volatile ingredients. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures. Load chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices. Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures. High School education (or equivalent) desirable. Mechanically inclined and able to lift 70 lbs. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required. Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English. Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision. Forklift operator's certification. Experience with raw materials and dispersion equipment preferred.
