ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.
We offer a wide product range including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, the famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
The primary result expected from the Engineer, Manufacturing is to control internal processes to manufacture paint and paint products by defining and analyzing the manufacturing process of both milling and filling operations for improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency, and creating, improving, and maintaining manufacturing Process Instructions (PI) and salvage/rework integration.
Tasks PROFILE:
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions.
Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes.
Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes.
Determine most effective arrangement of operations such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying.
Perform tests and monitor performance of processes throughout stages of production to determine degree of control over variables such as temperature, density, specific gravity, and pressure.
Design and plan layout of equipment.
Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management.
Design measurement and control systems for chemical plants based on data collected in laboratory experiments and in pilot plant operations.
Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Assistant Process Operator in our Chemical plant located in Corsicana.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete work functions within Chemical production operations.
Responsible for the quality blending of finished products and the bulk, drum, and pail packaging of products.
Full understanding of Chemical Hazards specific to area assigned to, including PPE.
General forklift duties.
The core responsibility for blending and packaging of products demands the use of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, mixing equipment, and automation control systems.
Completion and compliance of all safety initiatives and certification requirements including all near miss and incident reporting.
Accountable for the data entry of production tickets, good receipts, and shipping documentation.
Daily inspection of work area and monthly document reporting.
Ensure that a clean organized work environment is maintained at all times.
Assist with physical inventory counts and processes.
Compliance with all applicable ISO requirements.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred, 2-year Process Technology Degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Preferred, Manufacturing, Chemical or Technical experience 2+ years.
Preferred, Forklift experience certified.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good Attendance record.
Able to Work 12-hour shift: Dupont Schedule, Day and Graveyard rotation.
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat down, and reach above your head throughout the day,
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to wear fall protection, and work at heights.
Must be able to wear respirator approx.
2 hours per day and work in confined spaces.
Forklift experience certified.
24 hour Hazpower.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The hourly starting rate for applicants in this position wage is $25.00 plus a $1.00 shift premium.
This amount is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
This position is also eligible for a 6% annual bonus.
This position will practice the DuPont work schedule.

Under general supervision, the Account Manager - MRO is responsible for growing sales in the assigned geographic territory.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, marketing, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely product delivery.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience selling into complex sales environments, or at least 5 years of experience selling solutions with an average 90-180 day sales cycle.
Work with regional or national distributors is helpful.
Previous experience working local events and trade shows effectively to generate leads, initiate meaningful conversations, and build awareness of solutions.
Proven history of identifying and building strong relationships with prospects through a consultative and strategic approach.
Travel 30% - 45% required.
Prior MRO, Facilities Maintenance or Jan San channel experience preferred.

Hiring Range
Between $86K - $105K annually

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Production Supervisor supervises staff involved in the daily manufacturing and shipment of chemicals to meet production and order schedules and quality requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Production Coordinators in the planning and scheduling of orders for production to maximize use of workforce and equipment and ensure delivery schedules are met.
Coordinates shift production activities to ensure that processes are operating as designed and producing chemicals according to specifications.
Supervises hourly employees engaged in chemical production and shipment of finished products.
Coordinates shipping activities with other groups and production shifts to maximize efficiency.
Ensure that outgoing products are tested and shipped according to specifications and regulations.
Responsible for ensuring that processing equipment is in good operating condition.
Recommends equipment upgrading, replacement or addition, when necessary.
Responsible for the recognition and prevention of production non-conformances and implementation of corrective action.
Works with quality assurance, engineering, and maintenance on Process Control Planning teams to achieve capability and control goals.
Responsible for keeping the work area safe and orderly.
Ensure that supporting staff maintains and follows safety and manufacturing procedures to comply with site and governmental policies and regulations.
Responsible for the proper operation of the plant water treatment units and the operation of the plant utilities.
Trains and motivates supporting staff.
Conducts performance appraisals and recommends wage adjustments.
Initiates and administers commendations and disciplinary action as required.
Prepares and maintains accurate reports, as required, and Provides management with appropriate information.
Responsible for the accurate recording of raw material and resource usage and increases in finished product inventory.
Supports and is committed to Tremco's Quality Improvement Process.
Plans strategies to ensure error-free work by "doing it right the first time" and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties.
Participates as a member of various quality teams and assists in the development and implementation of action plans as required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMET: Associate's degreeor equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Supervisory experience in prior manufacturing role preferred.
Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to direct workers.
Usually requires an individual with 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 24 hour hazwoper.
