Job Description:
Our client, a reputable financial services firm, is seeking a Fund Oversight Analyst to join their function in Glasgow on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing oversight team where you will play a critical role in safeguarding investors' interests and ensuring compliance with the UK regulatory environment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong operational experience who is ready to expand their technical expertise, work on a wide range of fund oversight activities, and contribute to continuous improvements across processes and controls.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Previous experience in operational oversight within a financial services institution
Good understanding of the regulatory environment and its impact on fund oversight
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (basic Word, intermediate Excel)
Core Responsibilities:
Monitor investment and borrowing powers, ensuring issues are identified, investigated, and resolved appropriately
Assess asset eligibility for different investment products in line with UK regulation
Provide technical advice to colleagues, supporting issue resolution and knowledge sharing
Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships
Support change management initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of operational processes and systems
