Main Responsibilities:
Providing excellent customer service at our busy Trade Counter maintaining high company standards
Assisting customers/potential customers on their product selection detailing benefits/technical features of products
Cash handling and operation of our in-house stock system.
Assisting the Shop Manager with merchandising and keeping the shop at the highest standards of health and safety and cleanliness.
Maintaining effective communications with our suppliers regarding the sourcing and delivery of products.
Providing support to our Internal Sales Team and External Sales Team
Checking goods inwards, labelling stock and checking expiration dates
Keeping track of stock inventory.
Requirements:
Previous experience of providing excellent face to face customer service within a retail environment essential
Previous experience of working with stock - preferably in a stock controller role
Good knowledge of Hardware, DIY and Plumbing Materials
Excellent teamwork and organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient in the use of IT and have good computer literacy
Reliable and punctual
Attention to detail
Be familiar with inventory management systems
Ability to maintain and develop good working relationships with suppliers, customers and other team members

POSITION: Workday Financials and Supply Chain Manager
As part of a dedicated team, youll have the opportunity to drive meaningful change, from streamlining purchasing processes to enhancing inventory management.

ROLE:
- Take charge of the Workday Supply Chain module, overseeing procurement, inventory, supplier management, and logistics functions.
- Keep our Workday configurations, workflows, and user roles up to date, making sure the system runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Partner with IT and other teams to handle updates, system enhancements, and any troubleshooting that comes your way.
- Seek out ways to optimize our supply chain processes, from automating repetitive tasks to enhancing workflows within Workday.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and roll out new features and improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest Workday releases and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring we get the best value.
- Coordinate with finance to keep budgets, forecasts, and reports aligned with supply chain activities.
CANDIDATE:
- 5+ years in supply chain management, with a background in healthcare
- Hands-on experience with Workday Supply Chain or Financials for at least 2-3 years.
- Experience leading process improvement projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Expertise with Workday Supply Chain functions, including procurement and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skillsyou know how to use data to drive decisions.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Great communication skillsyou can explain complex things in a simple way.
