Do you have excellent working knowledge of fund accounting practices and standards, and seeking your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a Manager, Private Capital to join their team based in Glasgow.
In this role, you will be responsible for the set-up/on-boarding and subsequent ongoing accounting of Private Capital funds and leading a team.
Skills/Experience:
Excellent working knowledge of fund accounting practices and standards, ideally including IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP
A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g.
ACCA/ACA), or able to demonstrate competency through experience
Excellent working understanding of various types of PE transactions
Strong leadership and management skills and experience.
Stakeholder management skills and client management experience.
Understanding of wider Private Capital industry standards and regulations is desirable.
Previous experience in Private Capital fund accounting preparation is desirable.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist with drafting the Service Level Agreements
Assist in preparation and agreeing accounting reporting templates with client
Assist with the review of fund documentation and Business Acceptance Committee documentation pertaining to the launch of new funds and provide comments as necessary
Oversee and be actively involved in the day-to-day servicing of Private Capital fund clients and to ensure the fund is operating in line with the Service Level Agreement
Oversee the reconciliation process for cash, stock, shares/units in issued and ensure that all breaks identified are cleared on a timely basis and in accordance with agreed KPI
Involvement with external parties related to the fund including but not limited to Fund Manager, External Auditors, Transfer Agents, Tax Advisers, Custodian, Depositary, Board of Directors and other external service providers
Review drawdown and distribution calculation in accordance with the fund documentation
Liaise with internal and external auditors and manage the year end/interim audit process via a monitored timetable and audit requirement list
Management point of contact for clients, auditors, trustees, custodians and other departments within the business.
Develop internal and external client and stakeholder relationships.
Plan and manage client, audit, trustee and regulatory visits.
Oversight of team service delivery.
Responsibility for performance and KPI reporting.

General Duties

Assistance to higher graded ground operatives/team leaders in more skilled tasks may also be given (for example assistance with propagation and nursery care of plants, site preparation and construction).
To be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a range of tools and equipment as well as the use of powered hand tools and light plant, including the operation of tractor-mounted equipment could be required.

Relevant training will be provided.

We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fund Administrator to join the Private Capital Fund Administration team at a global financial services firm in their Glasgow office.

Liaise with internal and external auditors and assist with the year-end/interim audit process via a monitored timetable and audit requirement list.
Assist in analysing investment proposals to ensure potential fund acquisition meet fund investment criteria.
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal processes, procedures and controls when discharging Fund Administration duties, using the appropriate system or platform in order to do so.
Support management in ensuring all checklists utilised in review and sign off clearly document controls and are kept up to date.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a prominent healthcare company.
This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £34,000 - £36,000.
As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide comprehensive Occupational Health services, including wellbeing assessments, health promotion, advice, health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, travel health assessments, vaccinations, and drug & alcohol testing, in line with client contracts and guidelines.
You will be responsible for:
* Provide professional advice, support, and guidance on occupational health matters.
* Conduct assessments for new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
* Evaluate individuals fitness to work for specific job roles.
* Perform clinical assessments for clients with minor illnesses and injuries.
* Support the Occupational Health Manager in advising, monitoring, and assessing the clinical practice of the OH team.
* Carry out health surveillance activities as required.
* Maintain clinical assessment skills in line with best practices and industry standards.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as an Occupational Health Nurse, RGN, Registered Nurse, A&E Nurse, Emergency Nurse or in a similar role.
* Experience working within A&E / intensive care.
* NMC registered RGN.
* Ability to assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses, along with delivering health and wellbeing initiatives.
Shifts:
* Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
* Friday: 7.30am - 2.45pm

This business specializing in delivering top-tier Microsoft focused cybersecurity solutions to a diverse range of clientele alongside other services across the Microsoft portfolio (M365, Azure etc.) They pride themselves on staying ahead of evolving threats and providing comprehensive security measures to safeguard their clients' digital assets.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in their Security Operations Center (SOC), contributing expertise in managing and responding to security incidents while demonstrating a strong understanding of security protocols, policies and exposure to SIEM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor security events and alerts using Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender, ensuring timely and effective response to potential threats.
Mentor L1/L2 SOC Analysts whilst acting as their technical escalation point.
Analyze and investigate security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for mitigation.
Implement and manage security controls, configurations, and policies within Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance security strategies, including threat hunting and incident response procedures.
Stay updated with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to proactively address potential risks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Security/SOC Engineer or similar role within an MSP, MSSP or cybersecurity environment.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with SIEM tools
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
Relevant certifications such as GIAC, or Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
Any experience with SOC Prime, Carbon Black, and SOAR would be advantageous.
Remote based.
Paying up to 50k, depending on experience.
As this is a 24x7 SOC you will be required to be a part of a shift pattern
Must be eligible for SC clearance.
