Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, and any employee relation issues.
Essential Functions:
Enforce safety regulations, investigate accidents, complete accident reports as required and eliminate potential and actual safety hazards. Maintain a complete understanding of emergency response plans in the event of spills or other similar disasters. Must adhere to the specific facilities safety process and procedures and follow all PPE requirements.
Report all safety injuries and incidents to your supervisor and EH&S department immediately. Ensure production quality expectations are met.
Responsible for understanding all aspects of production schedule.
Understand shift production requirements and hold daily meetings to share information with direct reports. Assign employees to specific work stations and tasks.
Advise management of equipment and staffing requirements. Maintain housekeeping standards. Interface with other supervisors on all operations, staffing, and miscellaneous issues. Run daily cycle counts. Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up. Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed.
Review and approve timecard hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning.
Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs. Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees. Input inventory transactions and monitor LN for accuracy. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, or 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds.
Exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
(Personal protective equipment would be utilized.) Standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 75% of workday.
May be required to operate fork-lift.

Responsible for critical accounting and reporting activities for Tremco CPG Inc.'s service roofing and general contracting businesses, including month-end and annual close. Perform control activities, including monthly and quarterly account reconciliation reviews. Review monthly balance sheet and income statement analytics and other procedures as part of the month-end close to ensure transactions have been properly captured. Ensure compliance with all public company accounting regulations, group and parent company policies and internal controls. Successfully interfaces with internal audit and external audit resources.
Provide audit requests timely and facilitate completion of the audit on time. Ensure effective communications are maintained within areas of responsibility. Continue to explore which tasks and processes can be migrated to the global service center located in India, as appropriate. The duties above are performed within the guidelines of US GAAP while adhering to corporate procedures, internal/Sarbanes Oxley controls and RPM reporting requirements.
This also includes maintenance of records for the accounting department within government and RPM guidelines.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in accounting for service contracts (e.g., construction contracts, general contracting services, roofing installation services) is required.
Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred. 7+ years in General Accounting or Audit.
Background in a manufacturing environment or general contracting environment a plus. Works with DSM to assess sales performance and market trends for Roofing market and to determine appropriate adjustments to meet or exceed objectives. Ensure that the Roofing Division's Policies are communicated and implemented. Provide timely feedback to management regarding the sales activity/performance of representatives and on sales forecasts and budgets. Provide end of month reports that clearly communicate results. Participate in any planning, update/status meetings at the request of the DSM.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one- or two-year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years successful outside sales experience, preferably industrial sales.
5+ years experience in field sales management.
Ability to lead, manage and develop local field sales representatives through coaching and mentoring.
Management experience should include recruiting, interviewing, training and developing a productive sales team.
Financial management (to include analyzing market data and developing sales plans), and organizational skills required.
Thorough understanding and experience building long-term customer relationships, prospecting, account development, problem solving and ability to deliver service, solutions, and project a can-do attitude.
Knowledge of construction, building and facility maintenance a plus.

Strong communicator with top-notch presentation skills who can develop and provide training to production personnel on matters concerning formulation, materials handling, processing, and quality procedures. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner. Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold.
