JOB DESCRIPTION
Primarily responsible for lab testing and field trials for new product development, field training of TM's and installers on product installations and system set up and maintenance.
Also acts as a technical liaison for field personnel and various internal departments.
Essential Functions
Conducts on-going market research for Product Managers and marketing services. Performs laboratory, forensic analysis for field failures and for the purpose of making product recommendations. Provides product and application training for sales engineers and field sales managers as required. Provides field training and project management for foreign affiliates and for large or complex projects. Assists in new product development including lab work, field trials, commercial scale-up and field follow-up. Special order custom product needs and provides approval for both experimental and discontinued products. Enters new product information (formula, in-process, updates, price and cost) into system. Maintains technical literature and creates and edits various technical and promotional publications (i.e., Tech Lines, product Corners, Product Information Guide, Engineering Details). Provides outside sales support as well as handles incoming calls and lead qualification
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. Requires travel within company plants, distribution facilities and other North American locations. Must possess reliable transportation.
Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period - up to 8 hours.

Product Manager - Technical Aftermarket
We are seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented Product Manager to manage and develop assigned automotive product ranges within a fast-paced aftermarket environment.
This role requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance commercial strategy with technical accuracy.
You will work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Services and Senior Management to optimise pricing, maximise margin, introduce new parts, and support overall sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned product ranges to ensure competitive, market-aligned pricing through competitor analysis and manufacturer retail comparisons

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess a deep understanding of the market landscape for all Tremco application categories - Facades, Foundations and Slabs, ICF & Framing, Connections, and Roofing - as well as adjacent opportunities.is responsible for developing formal strategic programs for growth development across the Tremco Construction Products Group business.
Implement both quantitative and qualitative research to generate market insights, discover market opportunities, and understand competitive and multi-channel distribution landscapes
Develop comprehensive CPG strategic business plans, documentation and financial proformas with detailed execution initiatives that contain unique value propositions, leveraging CPG synergies to address high growth opportunities.
Assess underdeveloped channels & segments, formalizes a strategic approach to penetrate markets, and collaborates with the Sales Department on opportunities to achieve long-term success.
Partner with Product Management to identify portfolio gaps and pursue RPM global technologies, M&A and sourcing opportunities with the Business Development group to fill product/system needs.

Initiate and support strategic alliances to strengthen category and segment strategies.
Drive development of market-facing tools, collateral, and sales/marketing activations to generate demand and end-user adoption of products and services.
Provide strategic guidance to the Tremco CPG organization to communicate and reinforce the "Power of One" value messaging across all channels and segments.
Deliver financial objective results and commitments within Tremco CPG business plans and strategies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a concentration in Strategy, Marketing, or Finance, Master of Science in Construction Management, or other related degree in a similar study focus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
10 or more years of experience in either B2B product, brand or channel management or construction industry experience.
Retail channel experience is required.
Direct exposure to retail goods clients (e.g., The Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, Ace Hardware, regional home centers & distributors)
Experienced in consumer or trade product portfolio, pricing, promotion, positioning and placement strategy and management
Experience managing direct reports is a plus.
