Position Summary:
You will apply and interpret standard scientific or engineering theories, concepts and techniques in a scientific or engineering specialty requiring a working knowledge of related disciplines.
Work on a wide range of problems where causal relationships are progressively difficult to establish and the use of creative thinking is required.
Extends the responsibilities of Chemist II.
Report to Lab Manager, or more senior R&D personnel.
Essential Functions:
Prepare project requests or research proposals on assigned projects.
Create ideas for new products or approaches and conduct individual investigations.
Apply creative approach to problem solving and formulation. Execute laboratory projects and continuously assess effectiveness.
Develop research findings, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
Prepare and present written or oral reports. Contribute to research programs of others through communications and participation in technical work groups and design teams. Responsible for meeting project goals within time, quality and budget constraints.
Utilize initiative to keep projects on track. Coordinate work of others, anticipate, and resolve priority conflicts. Acquire and maintain technical expertise in coatings industry and its technologies. Communicate and verify technical information directly to various departments, suppliers or customers. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs- EH&S Statement / RCRA
Requirements:
4-year Chemistry degree or equivalent experience of 10 years Chemistry experience. 5 Years in protective coating 10 years formulation
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
Personal protective equipment would be utilized.
Must pass annual respirator medical evaluation and pulmonary function test as required by OSHA.

Major Responsibilities:
Provide and track excellent front-line telephone/electronic service and support for Euclid Chemical construction products. Schedule and manage telephone support coverage, working with other Construction Products Support Specialists, Product Managers, and marketing staff. Assist in the development of technical support tools such as product comparative guides, brochures, sell sheets, certification letters, website content, etc. Assist in product troubleshooting by proactively coordinating testing and analysis activities between sales representatives, customers, R&D/product development, customer service, and operations. Interact as a reliable peer, especially to sales representatives, product managers, marketing communications staff, customer service, business development, R&D/product development, and the operations group. Maintain electronic product technical files. Help plan and provide product training and demonstrations to internal and external customers. Occasional travel to construction jobsites or customer locations to provide product support may be required.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree or equivalent industry experience Previous call center support experience, or related field Construction and/or concrete knowledge preferred

JOB PURPOSE:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing technical support for the corporate quality team.

Will include In depth analysis of customer complaint data in excel, identification of poorly performing products from the data analysis and engaging the brand and R&D teams to identify possible product improvements. Support day-to-day management of quality incidents, processes, etc.
through data analysis and utilization of root cause analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
0-3+ years of experience (in a manufacturing setting) or equivalent process industry or consumer products manufacturing experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical and/or Mechanical preferred) or Chemistry Proficient in MS office, Statistical analysis (Minitab, etc).
SAP experience desirable.

- Electronics Engineer providing expertise of circuit design, components, and PCB technology.

A leading designer and manufacturer of specialist safety equipment for hazardous area electrical equipment serving a global client base across a range of industries is actively seeking an experienced CNC Brake Press Operator to join their in-house Manufacturing Team.
Their site in Sunbury is easily reached by both road (2 minutes from the M3) and public transport (few minutes walk from Kempton Park train station) where they have in-house design, fabrication and testing facilities.
This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means that your work will be interesting and varied.
As a CNC Brake Press Operator you will be given full training to set and operate the Brake Press and Punch (including Radan programming) working with 316L stainless steel mostly 3mm but something down to 1mm.
After successful training you will become a Sheet Metal Worker.
You will need to be able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
In return they are willing to pay an attractive hourly rate (please state your requirement upon application) and the following:
40 hour week
20 days holiday + bank holidays (1 day added per year of service up to 5 year where extra 2 days awarded for total of 27 days plus bank holiday)
