The Role
Key purpose of the role is to conduct thorough asbestos surveys, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing expert advice to ensure the safety of council properties and the community.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
carry out the full range of Building Control surveying activities including site inspections and plan appraisals, investigating dangerous structures, responding to customer enquiries, coordinating statutory consultations, demolitions, liaising with experts, internal and external stakeholders
proactively manage contravening building works and enforce the requirements of the building regulations through effective enforcement in line with service policies and procedures and the Operational Standards Rules published by the Building Safety Regulator.
investigate alleged breaches of building regulations, gather evidence and attend court as required.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require to have a NEBOSH Certificate in Asbestos Management or equivalent qualification or experience.
You will also require a valid driving license.
It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:
Relevant experience in asbestos surveying and management.
Knowledge of current asbestos regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We are working with an impressive global IP practice who is keen to accommodate a skilled intellectual property professional who possesses relevant and demonstrable Patent Administration knowledge into their expert team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established practice who are in partnership with an array of stellar clients.
You will be welcomed into this supportive team carrying out tasks such as filing, processing incoming correspondence, recording case load charges and liaising with external stakeholders obtaining and instructing as well as monitoring due dates.
