Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and engaging new customer prospects, including contractors, design professionals, business owners, and distributors.
Success in this role requires technical expertise and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service while meeting sales targets.

Actively promote, present, and sell products and services to both existing and potential clients. Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses to align product offerings with customer needs. Responsible for accurate order entry of all incoming orders via phone, fax, and email.
Responsible for tracking and monitoring of all orders from entry to shipment.
Confirmation of all orders received to the customer within 24 hours providing valid expected ship dates.
Responsible for the review and monitoring of orders entered report to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders.
Review all backorders for daily communication with plants regarding shipping status of backorders.
Responsible for daily interaction with sales reps, credit reps and pricing team to resolve all order blocks and pricing issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with credit department on term's discrepancies.
Responsible for the accurate and timely process of requests for credit/debit upon customer request and investigation.
Ensuring that the procedures are followed for each process in a correct manner.
Responsible for the daily interaction of assigned customers and sales reps.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
High School (or equivalent)
Effective communications skills - verbal and written, SAP experience a plus.
Grace under pressure - remain positive and focused to the task at hand.
Effective problem-solving skills - quick on your feet and can think outside of the box.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work all with a sense of urgency.
Familiarity with use of PC system for order placement, pricing, and distribution and to obtain information relative to customers, orders and products.
French fluency is a plus.

Assists in gathering data for environmental reports.
Oversees Inspection of facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Proactive in addressing preventative issues.
Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and schedules routine inspections.
Develops health, safety, and environmental procedures for all areas of the company.
Investigates any safety incidents, provide root cause analysis, and set plans to address improvement opportunities.
Works with various contractors/vendors as needed.
Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
Maintains records of discharge of, or employee exposure to, hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
Completes all required OSHA forms and postings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, certification and/or licensure required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties and meet the necessary employment standards may be considered.
Bachelor's degree required in field related to Environmental, Health, and/or Safety.
Minimum 5 years' management level experience required, ideally in manufacturing environment.
Certification in one or more of the following is required:
Certified Safety Professional
Certifies Hazardous Materials Manager
Certified CPR/First Aid Trainer
OSHA 30-Hour OSHA CoursePreferred certifications:
HAZWOPER 24-Hour Training
Root Cause Analysis Training
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently/independently with minimal supervision.

Hiring Range:
Between $102,000 - $120,000 annually.
