As our Hopper Loader, you're there to assist in the duties of a Paintmaker by supporting the filling lines in order to meet both internal and external customer demand, in addition to operating equipment and setting up materials in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner. Here's what you can expect every day: Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements. Test samples of materials or products to ensure compliance with specifications, using test equipment. Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times. Operate or tend blending equipment to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials such as chemicals, color pigments, or volatile ingredients. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Stop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures. Load chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices. Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow safety procedures. High School education (or equivalent) desirable. Mechanically inclined and able to lift 70 lbs. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required. Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English. Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision. DAP is looking to hire Process Engineer for our Baltimore Plant.
Responsibilities
Provide process engineering support for raw materials, compounding, production, and packaging functions to improve safety, and support the MS 168 continuous improvement process.
Production Support
Support daily production needs through process troubleshooting, experimentation and support for production requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, increase material utilization, improve first time right, integrate new products/processes into production and reduce variation.
Implement necessary changes and update all documentation (including drawings and SOP's) accordingly
Capital Plan
Coordinates with plant engineer to oversee capital projects necessary for the continued improvement and modernization of the plant.
Ensure completion of projects within budgets.
Safety

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.
Six Sigma/lean manufacturing experience. Understanding of process control methods, flowmeters, level monitors, and other process controls within a batch manufacturing process.
Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&ID's).
PLC with ladder logic analysis.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
PC usage with MS Office Suite (AutoCAD experience a plus), strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills both written and verbal.

This position is primarily responsible for providing ongoing training programs, processes, and strategies that enhance and accelerate the depth of knowledge and efficiency of the THD Field Service Unit (MET) in order to better service and increase sales with key home center.
This includes providing field tutelage, and training tools that maximize MET performance and results in support of National Field Manager and National Account Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.).

Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays when required.
