Summary:
Carboline Global, Inc is seeking a Credit Intern.
This individual will be given meaningful and challenging assignments during a 10-week summer program.
This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and industry knowledge through summer project work in the credit department, while also developing professionally through networking with peers, mentors, and senior leaders at our Corporate Headquarters.
Minimum Requirements:
This paid intern will work roughly 30 - 40 hours per week from May-August.
Strong Academics record from an accredited university and pursuing a degree in Finance or a similar field.
*Students must have housing arrangements in or near St.
Louis for the summer, as housing allowance is not provided.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Essential Functions:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Strong and consistent verbal, written, and listening communication skills: ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner. High level of curiosity to learn and adapt. Strong computer skills, and proficiency, with Microsoft Excel and Word. Collaborative, results-oriented, and ability to work across teams independently, maintaining objectivity and delivering results. Intellectually curious with ability to think critically, creatively, and identify/explore alternatives. Collaborate and work in a dynamic team environment, including with employees outside the assigned home office. Reconcile customers' accounts timely to keep customers accounts up to date. Request and review bank/trade references, Dun & Bradstreet credit reports, and if necessary financial statements.
Set credit limit or submit to proper authorized person for credit limit approval. Contact customers whose accounts are past due, according to the "aging report".
Follow up with past due customers regularly. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.

Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing at acceptable efficient levels while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Manufacture batches of product in Basket Mill and HSD. Maintain cleanliness of vessel, gates, blade, blade underside, shaft, manufacture lids and storage lids. Utilize various scales as required. Properly transact raw material from inventory utilizing scanners. Relocate material tanks/containers to place of origin. Write off drum heals as required. Perform inventory cycle counts as required. Properly record times, temperatures, and QCT's of batches as required. Comply with all company safety policies. Maintains a clean work environment. Follows all departmental policies. Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must either have forklift certification or have ability to pass forklift certification test. Steel-toed boots, hard hats, and safety glasses (side shields as needed) are required.
A variety of gloves, aprons, respirators, and other PPE are available as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and safety rules. Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.
Physical Requirements:

* Be a direct line of contact to the contractors in the designated area, per the local sales reps, to maintain a good working relationship with the existing contractor base, keeping them informed and trained on Tremco s product line and new products introduced.
* Develop new contractors in the area, per the local sales team, by training on product systems and their usage.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Associate s degree (AAS), or Trade School Certification, or Bachelor s Degree (BS) preferred.
* 5+ years of roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market.
* 2+ years of roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.
* Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal systems.
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
* Class B CDL driver s license.
* Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
* Prior experience in a field sales and service leadership role.
* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learn internal business systems).
* In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of product line.
* History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
* Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
* Overnight travel of up to 25% to support assigned customer accounts. The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $60,000 and $70,000.
