JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Construction Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects associated with a construction-related project.
This will include but is not limited to, General Contracting projects, larger-scale Contracting Patch and Repair Projects, TremCares, etc.
This will involve working with the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, or WTI Technician assigned to the project to ensure the project is effectively executed and completed safely and all contractual obligations are adhered to.
Additional duties will include participating in onsite meetings, scope of work development, proposal review, specification review, completion of project schedules, assembling project submittals, obtaining building permits, project closeout documents, and other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for contributing to and validating proposals and specifications.
Conceptual Phase (specification development, establishment of milestone dates) Program Planning Phase Design Phase Conduct Pre-Proposal Meetings Proposal Phase Construction Phase Conduct pre-construction Effective Close-out Cost Estimates and schedules Use of ebuilder for all project documentation per policy manual. Coordinate with Program Managers, Project Administrators, Project Estimators, Specification Writers, Sales Representatives, and RBM when needed. Assist in the review of submitted proposals and contractor interviews for specification and contractual compliance. Review of line-item generated proposal documents. Direct Project Superintendents as needed. Specification Development Stage: Works with the Construction Manager and Sales Representative to establish a scope of work for the project. Completion of specification requests and related documents. Responsible for specification review as required by the Construction Manager. Pre-Proposal Stage: Conducts Pre-Proposal Meeting and distributes completed Pre-Proposal Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Assist the Construction Manager in reviewing proposals. Prepare Proposal Documents as directed by the Construction Manager. Pre-Construction Stage: Publish the Project Schedule. Assists Construction Manager in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Engages with the Project Superintendent to provide necessary project information. Conducts Pre-Construction Meetings and distributes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation to all applicable parties. Obtain Building Permit when required. Construction Stage: Review Daily Inspection Forms and ensure they are distributed to all applicable parties and uploaded into project files. Visits job site as necessary or directed by the Construction Manager. Conduct weekly Progress Meetings, virtual or onsite, and distribute meeting minutes to all appliable parties.
Maintain Project Schedule and update on a weekly basis. Perform site audits as appropriate. Review subcontractor payment requests with the Construction Manager. Assemble AIA billing applications for the Construction Manager's review and approval. Assist the Construction Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractor, Owner, or Sales Representative as needed. Close Out Stage: Assist the Construction Manager in coordinating the final inspection. Ensure all required documents are uploaded into the project files. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Experience with Value Stream Mapping, facilitating Kaizen events, implementing lean tools and processes such as: continuous flow, set up reduction, pull systems, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S practices.

Handling incoming calls, emails and online enquiries promptly and efficiently
Processing bookings using an online booking system
Handling customer concerns, enquiries and complaints
Managing booking rescheduling and modifications
Processing refunds where applicable
Ensuring customer records are kept up to date
Providing customers with relevant information about their bookings both in advance and on the day
Providing administrative support to the Operations team
THE PERSON:
Experience in a Customer Service or Customer Experience role is essential
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with customers, colleagues and suppliers / third parties
Strong problem solving abilities
Able to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment
Intermediate user of Microsoft Office packages
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
Confident to work efficiently as part of a team

Quality Engineer - Walsall
An established Medical Devices company based in the Walsall area is currently looking for a new Quality Engineer to assist with the teams CAPA processes, document control and supplier management.
They are specifically looking for someone who has worked in Medical Devices to ISO 13485 standards.
You will be creating and managing technical files for several Medical Devices lines.
You'll collaborate with a number of Medical Devices experts.
However, you will receive Quality Assurance assistance from the parent company's Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager.
Due to this, we are open to candidates who only have a couple of years of experience of ISO 13485 or QMS, but also keen to hear from people with more experience.
A key area of experience that is needed for this role is quality assurance inspection testing, so please make this experience clear on your CV.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone a couple of years into their career and looking for more responsibility to lead the development of their career.
You will ideally need to be in the office daily, however they will consider candidates who need one day a week hybrid.
It is expected that you would hold a degree in a subject that has led you into a Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Design Assurance role.
Apart from having a Quality Assurance background, it would also be highly advantageous if you have a good understanding of Regulatory Affairs.
Part of your role will involve working alongside the manufacturing teams for these medical devices.
Due to this, it would be highly beneficial if your Medical Devices Quality Assurance experience came from a Quality Engineering background, although this is not essential.
