Position Summary:
The Senior Platform Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting the technology operations team, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the technology infrastructure.
This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement, and manage technology solutions that align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide, support, and mentor the technology operations team members.
Assess, communicate, and manage risks associated with the technology infrastructure and operational tasks.
Liaise with vendors, outsourcers, and consultants to manage contracts and service agreements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations for the improvement of technology infrastructure and systems.
Develop, implement, and enforce technology policies and procedures, including security, disaster recovery, and service provision, within an appropriate governance framework.
Manage incident, request, change, configuration, and release management processes.
Investigate problems proactively and reactively to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Maintain and upgrade systems, equipment, and software to ensure optimal performance.
Design and document technology solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or IT operations.
Proven experience in technology planning, configuration, and implementation.
Strong working knowledge of contemporary technology architectures, including networks, security, hardware, protocols, and industry standards.
Extensive experience in systems design, development, and implementation.
Experience in developing and managing a technology governance framework within an industry-recognized framework (e.g., ITIL).
Demonstrated ability to apply a technology perspective to solve business challenges.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to coordinate and oversee the work of others to meet service standards.
Prior experience in leading a team is highly regarded.
Willingness to embrace emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the business environment.
Must have full Australian working rights.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, ITIL, CISSP, CCNP, or equivalent).
Experience in cloud platforms, automation, and DevOps methodologies.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.

Strong SolidWorks design and drawing package skills that meet project deadlines and internal/external customer needs. Demonstrated team leadership with strong communication skills. This level requires the following certifications: SolidWorks CAD Design Professional (CSWP) Manufacturing Engineer II perform broader range of duties, proven skillset to fully perform Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities, more technically complex tasks, expected to set an example of professional efficiency, and provide technical direction to less experienced staff.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Proven leadership ability to lead groups through the implementation of a new product and/or process change. Strong design skills in tooling/fixturing/jigs for production. Excellent analytical skills in the areas of process efficiency to focus efforts on "bottle neck" elimination and develop justification for capital improvements. This level requires the following certifications: Design of Experiments SolidWorks Administration PDM (CPAP) Senior Manufacturing Engineer perform broader skilled work and specialize in one trade or craft but perform work in a variety of disciplines.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer receives minimal instruction or assistance and is fully aware of the operating procedures and policies associated with the department.

Proven leadership ability to lead groups through the implementation of a new product and/or process change. Strong design skills in tooling/fixturing/jigs for production. Understanding and deployment of Design of Experiments methodologies to uncover optimum processing conditions. Excellent analytical skills in the areas of process efficiency to focus efforts on "bottle neck" elimination and develop justification for capital improvements. This level requires the following certifications: Design of Experiments SolidWorks Administration PDM (CPAP) Senior Manufacturing Engineer perform broader skilled work and specialize in one trade or craft but perform work in a variety of disciplines.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer receives minimal instruction or assistance and is fully aware of the operating procedures and policies associated with the department.

An opportunity has become available for a project focused, Senior Project Manager to join a leading top-tier COMAH Chemical Manufacturer based on one of their sites in the Cheshire area! This is a full time, permanent position, offering the Senior Project Manager a competitive salary of £57,000- £76,000 (DOE); which is also supported by a fantastic benefits package that is inclusive of:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will have responsibility for developing and delivering the Project Strategy for the site, delivering the design and execution of technical, CAPEX and redundant asset projects.Qualifications required for the Senior Project Manager:To be successful in this role as an Senior Project Manager you will hold a Degree in Engineering with Chartership or a master's in engineering.
You will demonstrate vast industry experience, highlighting Major Project Expertise and CDM and experience working on a COMAH site.Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:
To plan, co-ordinate and manage the execution of capital investment, redundancy and technical projects for the site
Ensure the compliance with specifications, deadlines and budgets, achievement of project goals and compliance with safety, environmental, health and quality standards and project reporting
Lead the team in the professional development, design and execution of projects for the extension, modification and optimisation of production and site facilities
Develop and monitor the budget of the site projects, analysing budget/actual deviations and develop, negotiate and agree corrective actions with senior management
