GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary function of a Tremco Project & Compatibility Lab Technician is to manage internal testing procedures that are used to establish a compatibility matrix for all Tremco products that are subject to contact in typical construction applications.
The P&C Lab Technician will perform Project Testing and support testing functions for Decks, Below Grade Waterproofing, Sealants and Air Barriers.
These test functions include Product Comparison, Product Compatibly, ASTM Testing (potential addendums to existing standard method requirements).
The P&C Lab Technician will be required to communicate results in an organized manner and manage the flow of data through the proper channels to the proper recipients in a timely fashion
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Laboratory: 75% of time will be spent in the laboratory in constructing test samples, documenting performance and maintaining a clean working environment.
Must be familiar with a laboratory setting and safety and be able to:
Test to ASTM C 1248, ASTM C 1247, ASTM C 1193, ASTM C 1135, ASTM C 1087, ASTM 794, ASTM C 793, ASTM C 719, ASTM C 679, ASTM C 679, ASTM C 661, ASTM C 639 and ASTM C 510 standard test methods.
Prepare test substrates for testing using cutting equipment including band saw, table saw and wet saw.
Document observations and results of standard testing in detailed test reports.
Maintain organization of test articles during sample preparation, conditioning, testing and storage.
Maintain cleanliness of laboratory environment and enforce laboratory hygiene plan.
Use of material testing equipment including microscope and Instron 5565.
Other duties as assigned.
Customer Support (External and Internal): Provide timely response on requests from internal and external customers as it relates to compatibility testing and posting of results in the database.
Develop a test schedule to provide accurate turnaround time estimates.
Maintain quick and accurate written and verbal responses to technical and non-technical questions.
Work with minimal dependence.
Display excellent problem solving & communication skills.
Provide general Technical Service phone support.
Travel on a limited basis to job sites and for product application support training.
Possess a team player attitude.
Be self-motivated and dedicated to quality work.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum HS Diploma or GED with 5 years' experience in a laboratory environment OR Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, General Science or similar with 3-6 months of work or coursework in a laboratory environment.

Design - Recommend and implement manufacturing systems that are designed for machine and human interaction, method/process, raw material & environmental variability.
Design solutions to incorporate Lean principles to improve reliability, ease of use & maintenance, minimize changeover times, and minimize production losses.
Construction Management - Manage contractors, technicians, skilled trades, and internal resources to safely install and startup manufacturing systems.
This includes working with the plant operational teams on training, standard operating procedures, and identification of spare parts.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Payroll Processing: Administer and process payroll for all employees in the United States. Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions. Manage disbursement of funds for the net payroll, payroll taxes and other related items (e.g., garnishments). Review and approve payroll transactions. Reconcile payroll accounts. Handle special pay runs for bonuses, commissions, and other payments as needed. Manage the annual year-end W-2 reconciliation process, ensuring complete accuracy and timeliness. Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and labor laws. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legal requirements. The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training.
They oversee large self-performed Facade projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed facade work (EIFS, Stucco, Concrete Restoration, Caulking).
Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings.
Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
Attend pre-cons on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Control Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training.
They oversee large self-performed Facade projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed facade work (EIFS, Stucco, Concrete Restoration, Caulking).
Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings.
Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
Attend pre-cons on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to:
Peel tests
Product testing
Product recommendations
Proper product installations
Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials.
Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation.
Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation.
Conduct on-site safety audits to ensure all safety requirements are met and consult with the safety team as needed.
Review and train on large warranty adjustment projects over ten (10) man days.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team.
Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable.
Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested.
Support the region as needed when weather conditions prevent the fulfillment of daily job responsibilities.
Facilitate training in a classroom setting.
All other Quality Control Inspection-related tasks or training as assigned by the manager.
Travel predominantly within the assigned territory and nationally as needed, and complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of facade experience (EIFS, Stucco, Concrete Restoration, Caulking)
Working knowledge Building Envelope Systems
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
Prior experience in a field service leadership role.
Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems)
In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of the applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of our product line.
This position is an autonomous role and requires self-motivation to manage a high level of independence.
Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Experience working with various types of technology and software.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $74,000 and $92,000.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc.).
