DAP is looking to hire 1 Production Manager for Morning shift.
Thursday to Sunday - 6am to 6pm
The Production Manager will work under the general direction of the Operations Manager, provides leadership for production teams within a high-performance environment.
Has overall accountability for the results.
Accountable for safety, productivity, continuous improvement, and all aspects of people management across day shifts or night shifts as assigned.
Ensures MS 168 standards are met.
Responsibilities
Managing others
Leads team in a manner consistent with RPM's Values of Expectations of 168.
Provides regular performance feedback and removes barriers that prevent the team from achieving goals.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and tenacity to resolve problems and implement process improvements.
Direct the Packaging, Compounding Leads and plant personnel in assigned shifts to ensure safety, production, quality, and cleanliness requirements are met.
Daily assignments
Oversee daily employee job assignments to maximize use of plant labor and ensure all production reports are completed.
Complete any reports as needed.
Provides feedback and addresses performance issues as needed.
Monitor production flow
Oversee operational area relating to material flow to ensure high production efficiencies and smooth flow of incoming and outgoing materials.
Must be able to show flexibility by making quick decisions to ensure daily goals are met.
Monitor quality
Responsible for maintaining a consistently high degree of product quality.
Partners with Quality team to ensure DAP's standards are met.
Maintain & promote good safety & housekeeping practices
Supports the Plant's Safety Program.
Ensures compliance of all safety programs and practices.
Supports safety audits by participating monthly and ensuring supervisors participate as well.
with the hourly personnel and assure full compliance with all procedures.
Communications
Effectively communicate with all members of the team.
Be approachable and strive to build teamwork and positive morale.
Conducts regular meetings to share information and ensure two-way communication.
Uses DAP Star Recognition program.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, production or operations management.

The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the Supply Planning process across the DAP enterprise.
They will manage the Supply Planning process across both internal and external production sites while collaborating with the Demand Organization and managing inventories at appropriate levels.

Responsibilities
Lead the Supply Planning process and sustain as business practice.
Develop, document, and communicate an integrated and aligned monthly supply plan to ensure customer service, inventory, and OEE targets are achieved.

Drive Continuous Improvement

Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic Computer Skills required (Windows Familiarity).
Lean and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train.

The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.

Business Development Executive - Vehicle Safety (Remote)
Location: Northampton, Cambridge, Oxford, Canterbury, Southampton, Portsmouth
Salary: Up to £50,000 basic DOE + uncapped commission

About the Company
A UK leader in safety and vision solutions with over 30 years of manufacturing expertise is seeking a talented Business Development Executive / Field Sales Executive.
With a strong reputation across Commercial Vehicle, Plant Equipment, LCV, Bus & Coach and Material Handling sectors, the company delivers innovative UK-manufactured products that improve safety, efficiency and performance.
This is a remote role offering high autonomy — you'll manage your own schedule, visit clients across your region and attend occasional meetings at head office.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and partners
Promote a portfolio of market-leading safety and vision products
Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide tailored solutions
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline activity
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with strong B2B sales and account management skills.
You will be:
Skilled in selling into sectors such as public sector, waste, logistics, construction, commercial vehicle or materials handling
Self-motivated, target-driven and confident managing your own diary
A strong communicator with the ability to build long-term client relationships
Commercially aware, proactive and enthusiastic about innovative technology
