Key responsibilities for this Quality Engineer (Electrical / Electronic) role based in Milton Keynes:

Planning, conducting and supporting internal audits, whilst acting as a key contact for external certification and customer audits

Proven Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally electronics
Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 experience highly desirable
Experience planning, leading or supporting internal and external audits
Strong problem-solving capability using structured methodologies such as 8D, FTA, Ishikawa and CAPA
Familiarity with quality tools including FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, 5S and Kaizen would be advantageous
Knowledge of ESD control standards and electronics workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 would be beneficial
Degree, HND or equivalent experience in Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related discipline

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a key role in servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete inspections, fault finding and repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct road tests where required to identify and confirm repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain accurate job records and follow workshop processes.
- Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
- Contribute to workshop productivity while delivering outstanding customer service.
What We\'re Looking For
- Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, or Mechanic.
- Main dealer experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am 5:00pm
- Saturdays: Rota basis, paid as overtime
