As a Mobile Plant Fitter / Service Engineer, you will be overseeing regular maintenance activities, diagnosing, and addressing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and executing repairs on a diverse range of heavy plant equipment.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Plant Technician, Crane Engineer or in a similar role.
* Experience with Crawler cranes, mini cranes, telescopic crawler cranes, truck crane.
* Background working with Piling and soil mixing equipment
* Experience servicing the construction, civil engineering, piling, and ground engineering industries.
* Alternatively, a qualified candidate with strong hydraulics and electrics experience on heavy equipment, with training provided on the above machinery
* CPCS, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in plant maintenance
* Ideally have heavy plant or crane experience.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multi-skilled maintenance team that works together as a flexible and professional unit.
You will be required to assist with both breakdown and preventative maintenance across the site safely and professionally.
Duties include:
- Adhere to all safety rules and requirements at all times.
- Carry out routine daily preventative maintenance checks.
- Work alongside the Production Team Leaders, Shift Technicians and Operators, reporting findings to your Departmental Team Leader.
- Take responsibility for any specific area as required to understand its operation and fully understand the maintenance requirements and safe systems of work for that area.
- Ensure that all tasks are accompanied by the relevant supporting documentation (work orders, risk assessments etc.).
- Carry out all non-planned and planned maintenance tasks promptly.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Maintenance Technician supports and ensures the completion of day-to-day maintenance activities at the plant.
The position provides support to leadership for all maintenance staff to drive excellence and maximize effort.
The position focuses on maintaining high-quality standards through the efforts expended at the facility that meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining a professional and equally efficient environment for all production employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform standard work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Inspect and repair plant equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation and controls to minimize downtime. Document accurate maintenance activity records.
Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Exemplify the expected values of organization including following policies and standard work procedures.
Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Crosstrain on other production functions to aid as business need dictates.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma required. One-year certificate from college, technical school or manufacturing training program preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
One to two years related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
