As the Account Manager - Southwest you will promote sales of bespoke electronics products to a portfolio of established customers within a wide variety of market sectors, which include Health Care and Medical, telecom, rail, transportation, lighting, and consumer and instrumentation markets.
The ideal Account Manager - Southwest will:
Establish relevant purchasing and engineering contacts at new potential OEM's.
Generate, track, and win design-ins and NBO's for standard and customised solutions.
Handle Key Account Management; Develop, maintain, and grow business with market leading OEM's.
Achieve sales objectives on NBO's, sales orders, new products, and customer satisfaction.
Have experience in field sales and account management.
Be knowledgeable in the Industrial device manufacturing companies in the Southwest of the UK.
Have technical and commercial aptitude to advise customers in the design of new products.
Be a self-motivated, flexible, professional problem solver.
Possess the ability to travel easily within the Southwest of the UK.
The position requires travel within the Southwest UK region.

Working closely with the Process Engineering team, you'll help refine AOI programming and inspection workflows, driving continuous improvement across production.

What You'll Do
Develop and optimise 3D AOI inspection routines for solder joints and component placement.
Carry out First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate assemblies against build standards.
Train and support operators to ensure consistent inspection quality.
Analyse inspection results and collaborate with Engineering to improve processes.
Keep AOI programs up to date with design changes, NPIs, and software updates.
Support ongoing quality and yield improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Experience with AOI systems (CyberOptics, Koh Young, Mirtec, Omron, or similar).
Knowledge of SMT and PCB assembly processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read assembly drawings and interpret data files.
Confident using inspection software and computer systems.

In the past 2 years, this employer has made significant investment and now operates out of a brand new, purpose-built 75,000 sq ft facility, from which they provide end-to-end services from initial concept design to aftercare & servicing.This employer is based in WAKEFIELD, just a few minutes from the M1, meaning the successful Electrical Assembly Fitter can easily commute from surrounding towns and cities, such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Halifax and Dewsbury.Because of increased demand of their bespoke end-to-end services, they are now actively searching for Electrical Assembly Fitters to join their team on a temporary basis.Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Assembly Fitter include:
Working as part of a Skilled Engineering team, tasked with the accurate building of bespoke Automated Machinery
Reading, interpreting and working directly from schematics and engineering drawings to ensure that machines are built in-line with specifications
Installing various electronic elements such as cabling, junction boxes, control panels, sensors and instrumentation directly onto machines
Details of the Electrical Assembly Fitter position:
Renumeration: Up to £20.00 per hour / £39,000.00 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift - able to start 30 minutes: Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30 / Friday - 08:00 to 15:15
Overtime Always Available - Paid at 150% after 37.5 hours & 200% on Sundays (10 hours overtime per week easily achievable midweek)
Assignment Duration: 3 to 6 Months subject to company workload - potential to transfer to permanent (not guaranteed)
