Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Regional Lens Account Manager for a leading manufacturer of Ophthalmic Lenses.
The purpose of this role is to build strong business relationships with customers in the independent optical market across the West Midlands & South West region, including the following postcodes: BA, BH, B, BS, CF, DT, EX, GL, HR, NP, SA, SN, SP & TA.
The Regional Lens Account Manager will effectively increase and develop the sales of lens products within the given geographical territory, across the Independent and Lab Channels.
Regional Lens Account Manager - Role
Achieve agreed sales targets for value within specified area
Educate and train all levels of customers' employees within account base on features and benefits of all listed products, generic technical and optical knowledge, and generic sales skills and techniques to improve product mix and overall sales within account base.
Through the use of persuasion and compelling arguments increase sales versus the competition throughout account base
Provide excellent customer service to the account base through regular calls, follow up and ongoing contact to meet customer requirements
Operate within agreed cost budgets for entertainment and expenses through planning the most economical coverage of the territory
Execute joint marketing/local promotions that have been formally agreed to drive sales

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.

Follows the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor. Hand applies adhesive mesh to parts.
Mixes base coats and finishes with electric drill and paddle.
Works as part of a team to run parts through extrusion equipment.
Assembles and pours mold for cast stone.
Trims parts with cutting equipment.
Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications.
Prepares and organizes parts for shipment.
Assists with shipping and receiving.
Follows all safety requirements.
Cleans equipment after use and assists team in keeping production space clean and organized.
Assists with monthly inventory counts.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience or training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Role of the UK Sales Manager
Managing a team of 9 reps that sell a variety of medical devices around Drainage Solutions, Women's Health, Colorectal & Diagnostics
To manage and support the UK field sales team, providing a point of contact for colleagues and ensuring feedback, documentation, reporting and information is regularly and routinely provided to the Sales & Marketing Director and product managers as required.
Predominately field based (at least 60%) 3 days per working week out with the team
Achievement of overall sales targets for the strategic range of products
UK Sales budget and control of UK Sales Operating expenses
Manage & quarterly sales meetings
Monitoring feedback and reporting as appropriate.
Annual sales social
Maintain key contract relationships
Tender/Bid applications
Liaise with and support Products Managers
Liaise with and support Customer Service staff and Managers
The Ideal Person for the UK Sales Manager
Experience in managing a successful medical devices sales team
Minimum 3-5 years proven track record in increase sales revenue
Hold a degree in biology/medicine/business or similar related field
Proven sales experience & skill within medical device field,
Selling into Healthcare and the NHS
Experience of working within a clinical environment
Knowledge of 80/20 or Pareto

Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
You must have a ‘can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
