Summary:

Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training.
Essential Functions:
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methodologies and ability to teach and model them.
Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. Ability to influence, mentor, and coach to get results through others. Collaborates with operations manager and/or plant engineering on modification of equipment and processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency and quality. Works in coordination with QC and R&D to isolate, test and recertify Non-Conforming material that can be repackaged and sold. Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality. Continuously challenging the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in our operating areas. Proactive problem solving based on statistical analysis of corrective actions / assigned by Engineering Director, Plant Manufacturing Manager, QA, EHS projects. DAP has an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators at our Baltimore Plant!

This position supports the plant's manufacturing operation by ensuring the various packaging and filling equipment within our dry products department runs smoothly and minimizes downtime. Below ais the available shift schedule:
1st Shift (Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Overtime is available/required.
Associates earn double-time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in your standard work week! Responsibilities: Operates a variety of packaging and filling lines including: placing of packaging on the line, monitoring the filling operation, packing-off finished product, performing quality checks and assisting in the cleaning and changeover of the line. Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory by proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, reporting any spills, and ensuring all items per case and cases per pallet counts are accurate. Utilize RF scanner and SAP system. Maintain production logs to accurately record downtime/issues.
Completes all paperwork accurately. Performs housekeeping duties to ensure a neat and orderly work area. Abides by all departmental and plant safety rules. Works in other areas as required by business needs. Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
regularly and stand for periods of up to 3 hours at a time Must be able to team lift 70-100 lbs.
occasionally Ability to climb steps/ladders Ability to become a licensed DAP forklift driver Must wear required PPE at all times throughout the shift (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes) Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce high-quality products by following established guidelines. Conduct quality inspections in accordance with lab procedures. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school diploma or GED.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices. Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks. Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs. Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems (flat, metal, TPO, EPDM, etc.). Apply waterproofing sealants and coatings to roofs, flashings, and other surfaces. Apply painting of roofing components, trim, or other structural elements as required. Identify and repair leaks or damaged areas on commercial roofs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees.
Job Requirements:
Commercial Roofing: All levels; at least 1 year preferred Reliable form of transportation Acceptable background check per company standards Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $23.00 and $29.00.
