GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist identifies, assesses, and resolves environmental, health, and safety concerns across multiple facilities.
Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps track of any changes to laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
Implements continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate risk.
Serves as the contact with all regulatory bodies.
Implements and maintains company policies, adhering to environmental regulations.
Works under the direction and guidance of the EHS Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts EHS audits of manufacturing sites, distribution centers, R&D labs, and offices; develops, tracks, and provides guidance on corrective actions.
Authors reports for OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory agencies related to EHS compliance, as well as required annual reporting as required for environmental permits (water, air, and hazardous waste).
Conducts/facilitates required testing associated with air, water, and hazardous waste permits.
Manages environmental data reporting systems to ensure accurate data capture and compliance.
Participates in EHS reviews for equipment/ process changes.
Maintains a visible presence on the shop floor and serves as a point of contact for environmental and safety-related inquiries.
Contributes to ISO 14001 program/ activities.
Ensures proper management, storage, and disposal of facility waste streams.
Participates in the development and delivery of EHS training.
Fosters a safety culture at assigned sites.
Complies with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures.
Participates in facility-based safety committees.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree from a four- or five-year college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two to four years of related experience and/or training.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of EHS regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning & Applied AI Co-Op Student to join our Automation & Emerging Technology team.
This role is ideal for students who want hands-on ownership of real-world machine learning experiments in a fast-moving, startup-like environment within a large enterprise.
The co-op will focus on applied machine learning, data-driven experimentation, and model evaluation, with opportunities to explore Generative AI and large language models where they meaningfully support ML-driven use cases.
Rather than production maintenance or traditional automation work, this role emphasizes problem framing, experimentation, and measurable impact.
This position follows a hybrid work model, with a minimum of three (3) days per week on-site at our Vernon Hills, IL office.
Key Responsibilities
Lead machine learning experiments end-to-end, including:

Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD-track program in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field

Strong proficiency in Python
Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts, such as:
Supervised and unsupervised learning
Feature engineering
Model evaluation and validation
Experience with common ML/data libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar)
Experience with AI Tools like Copilot, Copilot GitHub etc.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in ambiguous problem spaces

Senior Finance Assistant / Senior Accounts Assistant | £32,000 - £40,000 | Finance Expertise | Multi-Entity Experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Assistant / Senior Accounts Assistant to join a well-established provider of business communication and security technology solutions.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of key finance processes, play an important part in month-end activities and provide support and guidance to junior members of the finance team.
This full-time role offers salary range of £32,000 - £40,000and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns across multiple entities.
* Managing intercompany invoicing, recharges and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
* Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, including multi-currency accounts.
* Posting accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
* Supporting month-end close and the preparation of management accounts.
* Processing and reviewing sales and purchase invoices, including supplier payment runs.
* Maintaining accurate sales, purchase and nominal ledgers, and monitoring aged debtors and creditors.
* Reconciling balance sheet control accounts and resolving outstanding or historic unreconciled items.
* Maintaining supporting schedules and processing authorised write-offs where required.
* Acting as a senior point of contact within the finance team, supporting and guiding Finance Assistants.
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
* Senior Finance Assistant, Senior Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, Finance Executive or in a similar position
What we are looking for:
* Approx.
5 years experience within a finance environment.
* Experience working within a multi-entity environment.
* Proven experience preparing VAT returns and handling intercompany accounting, including invoicing, reconciliations and transactions.
* Strong knowledge of accruals, prepayments, journals and month-end processes.
* AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified through relevant practical experience.
* Confident undertaking bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Experience maintaining accurate financial ledgers and robust financial controls.
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 50.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Experience using an ERP system is highly desirable.
