Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Desford Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) Salary: £57,000 + up to £3,000 annual bonus Pension: Up to 15% total (10% employer, 5% employee)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a large engineering team at a state‑of‑the‑art, highly automated manufacturing facility.
This is a brand‑new, high‑volume production site—set to become one of the fastest in Europe—offering excellent training, modern equipment, and long-term progression.
This position has become available due to an engineer leaving, creating an excellent opportunity for a strong electrically‑biased engineer to join a well-supported and forward‑thinking team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair across a variety of automated manufacturing equipment.
Work on conveyors, mixers, ovens, kilns and other large-scale industrial machinery.
Support continuous improvement, reliability, and efficiency across the site.
Work within a large engineering team (approx.
20 engineers), ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Complete handover processes daily (5:30-6:00).
Participate in holiday cover to reduce banked hours (296 hours reducing to 206 after handover deductions).
Undertake planned and reactive maintenance in a dusty, fast‑paced FMCG/industrial environment.
Overtime & Hours Structure
You will have 206 banked hours annually (equivalent to 18 days of overtime per year).
These hours can only be reduced through holiday cover.
Weekend holiday cover = time and a half deduction.
Any overtime not related to holiday cover = paid at time and a half.
Essential Requirements
Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ / HNC or equivalent).
Strong electrical bias with excellent fault‑finding skills.
Experience in FMCG or heavy industrial environments.
Experience with industrial electrical panels.
Exposure to automation, complex machinery, and fast‑paced engineering settings.
Desired Skills
Siemens experience (including Siemens S7)—desirable but not essential.
Ability to work within highly automated environments.
Experience in large production or manufacturing facilities.

The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment.
Your key responsibilities include:
Key Duties
Mechanical fault finding and repair across fast‑paced production machinery
Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Responding to breakdowns and reducing engineering downtime
Working on conveyors, mixers, ovens, and kilns
Supporting the wider engineering team within a highly automated environment
Ensuring all engineering activities are carried out safely and efficiently
Working Hours / Overtime Structure
4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights
296 banked hours annually, reducing to 206 hours after daily handover (5:30-6:00)
206 hours is equivalent to 18 days of overtime per year
Overtime during holiday cover on weekends is paid at time and a half
Any other overtime is also paid at time and a half

Must be mechanically qualified (NVQ Level 3 or above)
Experience within FMCG or heavy industrial environments

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Repairs Supervisor / Senior Coordinator to join a London property services business, overseeing repairs coordination across its roofing, damp and restoration work.
We need someone with technical knowledge of at least two of these three areas: roofing, damp and restoration.
You will supervise a team of coordinators and manage client enquiries, survey bookings, job scheduling and project delivery, liaising with clients, surveyors, tradespeople and subcontractors
The role is fully office-based initially, with a possible option to work from home on Fridays after probation.

Position Summary:
Carboline Global, Inc.
is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee all warehouse operations at our Lake Charles, Louisana facility.
This role is repsonsible for managing inventory, coordinating the storage and sitribution of finished goods, and ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of products to our customers.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a commitment to safety, quality, oeprational excellence, and team development.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred, 5 year direct Supervisory or Management experience.
Must either have forklift certification or have ability to pass forklift certification test.
Must be physically and medically capable of wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the job as prescribed under OSHA standards based on exposure and manufacture recommendation for each specific location.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.

Job Duties:
Assigns employees to specific work tasks, utilizing them in the most effective manner while assuring shipping schedules are met with a minimum of overtime and within company standards.
Manage the gathering, stenciling, and loading of orders being shipped.
Maintain hazardous materials certification and ensure employee certifications in hazardous materials are up to date; train and retrain employees as needed.
Monitor orders being prepared for shipment according to the guidelines listed in the "Warehouse Manual."
Monitor and maintains on time shipment schedules.
Monitor employees job performances, coach, motivate, and discipline as necessary.
Maintain proper housekeeping procedures to provide a safe working environment.
Takes an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by enforcing all safety rules & regulations.
Notifies Management of any accidents and/or injuries and completes required reporting through proper investigation per Carboline policy.
Responsible for inventory integrity through cycle counts.
Responsible for coordinating export orders with corporate transportation for on time shipments.
Participate in and work on special projects as directed by Management.

Manage cycle counting and physical inventory procedures including variance control.
Coordinate with shipping on the movement of finished goods to the distribution center.

Summary:
Carboline Global, Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our production team at our manufacturing in Green Bay, WI.
We are seeking individuals with strong leadership to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility, and coordination of all plant production in order to reach the best possible performance targets.
This individual will be responsible for manufacturing product at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, managing employee schedules, and any employee relations issues.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
May have to occasionally travel to other facilities or training events.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.
Desired Qualification:
Strong Excel and Microsoft skill set.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Green Belt.
2-year college degree.
Union background a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds..
Exposure to chemicals including but not limited to: Amines, Polyamides, Isocyanates, Epoxies, Alkyds, Acrylics, and certain inorganic compounds.
(Personal protective equipment would be utilized.)
Standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately 75% of workday.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required.
Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up.
