An exciting opportunity has opened in the Norwich area for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer.
This role involves installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems across various sites.
Role Overview:
As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties.
You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and ensure their systems are functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems.
Perform regular inspections and servicing to ensure fire safety standards are met.
Diagnose and rectify faults on fire alarm systems.
Provide technical support and advice to customers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation and regulations.
Keep accurate records of all work completed, including inspections and maintenance.
Participate in on-call duties as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer or in a similar role.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving license.
Relevant fire alarm certification (e.g., FIA, NICEIC, or equivalent).
Desirable:

Primary Responsibilities: Develop Standard Work for all injection molding processes and support activities and help train leaders in each functional area. Establish and maintain internal specifications and process documentation for injection molding processes and tooling ensuring processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. Justify and generate capital expense proposals and manage capital projects for new machinery, automation and tooling. Drive continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through team participation in tiered meetings and plant management processes to improve resource utilization, performance and quality. Monitor and report issues with injection molds; make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability, and tooling history. degree in Plastics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required. Must have a minimum of 5-7 years practical work experience in an injection molding machines between 75 and 2,500 tons.

Between $86,000 - $99,000 annually.

Coordination and administration

Tenant Liaison and Synergy, You will be responsible for coordinating the administration of the tenant Centre Management Group meetings., Coordinate and circulate information to tenants in the cluster concerning synergy, training & events., Work with tenants and the Centre Manager in the cluster to facilitate effective synergy programs.
Staff Management

This Intern will work alongside our Continuous Improvement Manager, Plant Managers, and other CI personnel, reporting directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager, with dotted line of accountability to the local Plant Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, additionally the completion of at least 30 credit hours toward a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
Experience related to either manufacturing, industrial, or engineering or enrolling in a program in a related field is also desirable. This paid intern will work roughly 30 - 40 hours per week from May-August.
Must be pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering or a similar field.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require light physical activity and computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours in a day.
Work environments may require the use of hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toed shoes.
Essential Functions:
Intern will work alongside our Continuous Improvement Manager, Plant Managers, and other CI personnel performing the following duties: Waste identification and data collection to prioritize resource allocation Daily accountability to continuous improvement framework Participating in, and eventually leading, Focused Improvement Team (FIT) events (level 3 Kaizen) FIT Event preparation and Follow-Up Cost savings calculation and management Develop ideas and make suggestions that can be implemented within the plant to continuously improve performance, productivity, communication, and follow-up Handle special assignments as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs
