An established Steel & Architectural Metalwork company based in Kent is seeking an experienced Health and Safety / QA Manager to join their team immediately.Key Responsibilities
All aspects of H & S for workshop and site operations
Implementing new procedures and processes and managing the OHSM system
Accident and incident reporting RIDDOR
Site safety inspections
Attend customer H & S meetings and conferences
Managing staff training programme
Fire safety and Risk management
Producing and managing RAMS
QA Procedures in terms of UKCA Accreditation
QA Procedures in terms of Factory Production Control
QA recording and sign-off
Key Qualifications
NEBOSH Certificate (General or Construction) - Required
Proven H&S and QA management experience in steel/construction
Strong knowledge of UK H&S regulations (CDM 2015, RIDDOR)
Experience with OHSMS (ISO 45001), UKCA Accreditation, and FPC
Ability to produce and manage RAMS, site safety inspections, and audits
Strong communication skills for training and H&S meetings

Salary - £55,000
Package - Company car, mobile phone, company pension scheme, 28 days paid annual leave + Bank Holidays
Start Date - May 2025
Working hours are from Monday - Friday, 8AM til 5PM

The Quality Manager will report into the General Manager and will lead and develop Quality, Health, Safety & Environment management systems & team, based in Portsmouth, successfully maintaining certifications including AS9100 & ISO14001.
Other duties include
Business Management System governance, integration & simplification
Ensuring the quality of goods supplied to customers is a key focus for the organisation
Embed a continuous improvement culture through process control, measurement and improvement plans
Ensuring internal & external audits are carried out in line with required/agreed schedule
Managing NCRs including tracking action closure
Leading and supporting quality investigations and communications with customers & suppliers
Managing customer returns, ensuring findings from investigations are fed back into process improvements
Completion of FAIRs & datapacks required by customers
Management of Calibration
Management of the Inspection team as a resource pool supporting the business
Process for determining inspection requirements on incoming materials, WIP and finished goods
The Quality Manager in Portsmouth will have:
Experience in management change and programme managing business management system projects
Experience of quality and environmental standards (AS9100, ISO14001 etc) - AS9100 Auditor trained
Experience of electronics manufacturing processes

Pharmacy Stocktake Assistant
Salary: £12.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£11.55 per hour + £1.39 holiday pay)

We are currently looking for a motivated, professional, and flexible individual able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday day shifts, within a small stock count team, counting our Pharmacy Clients.
In this role, you are required to accurately count stock for Retail & Asset Solutions in various high street Pharmacies, this role is extremely important to ensure pharmacies are fully stocked with the medication required for local Doctors and Hospitals.
Please note all training is provided upon your first shift.
Previous stock, audit or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
Colleagues will be offered a benefit called Wagestream, which enables colleagues to track, save and access up to 50% of their wages prior to pay day.

Applicants are expected to:
Be able to work Monday-Friday day shifts

Please note all work will require prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders.
Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may be required to access and work with ground and high level stock, therefore you will be bending and stretching to reach stock throughout your shift and at times may possibly be outdoors.
