JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL SUMMARY The Technical Sales & Service Representative will be responsible for generating new leads and opportunities for potential customers while maintaining existing customer relationships.
They are responsible for representing the Company's products and services in the markets and territories in which they are assigned, serving as the face of the Company.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Support overall achievement of planned sales and profitability objectives for the assigned accounts, territory, and overall business by: Achieving or exceeding sales growth expectation metrics as defined by the Company Maintaining a working relationship with existing customers to ensure they receive exceptional service and to identify new sales opportunities Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business Possess an in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to product concerns Provide appropriate and regular reporting of activities and accomplishments to assigned Regional Sales Manager and others via the Company CRM as directed to, including but not limited to: Monthly report and key trip or activity reports Updates on competitive activities in the marketplace or at key customers/accounts Provide professional representation for the company in all business dealings, including at trade shows and with industry organizations, and attend company functions as directed. Maintain effective, regular, and competent communication with the company's laboratory through: Complete and thorough Lab Work Requests Documentation of trial results on all new products Key activity reports Line surveys QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

* Associate s degree (AAS), or Trade School Certification, or Bachelor s Degree (BS) preferred.
* 5+ years of roofing sales or technical experience in the commercial market.
* 2+ years of roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience.
* Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including built-up, modified, single ply, and metal systems.
* Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle record.
* Class B CDL driver s license.
* Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
* Prior experience in a field sales and service leadership role.
* Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learn internal business systems).
* In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of product line.
* History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation.
* Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.

Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience selling into complex sales environments, or at least 5 years of experience selling solutions with an average 90-180 day sales cycle.
Work with regional or national distributors is helpful.
Previous experience working local events and trade shows effectively to generate leads, initiate meaningful conversations, and build awareness of solutions.
Proven history of identifying and building strong relationships with prospects through a consultative and strategic approach.
Travel 30% - 45% required.
Prior MRO, Facilities Maintenance or Jan San channel experience preferred.

Hiring Range
Between $86K - $105K annually

KEY DUTIES & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with quality technicians, production supervisors, and the maintenance team to verify quality products are being produced following process and standards.
Monitor all Manufacturing plant lines, rooms, mixers and conduct periodic direct observations and Quality Control checks. Strong floor presence Conducts or directs training of new employees. Verify Completion of Daily Pre-Operational & HACCP Checks and documentation completed and filed. Represent QA in daily 9:30am production meetings Represent QA in ALL First Batch meetings - All Entities (new products and process reviews) Monitor Lab monthly/daily calendar with events/tasks that need completion Back up for QA techs during vacation, call ins and lunch shift coverages. Manage and Oversee PFI Lab email requests Align lab techs & monitor daily duties (assignments per shift hours) Outline each day expectations from receiving, production & shipping. Oversee all Micro testing is shipped out on time to 3rd party lab Manage all new products, Inbound receivers, COA creation, Micro releases, to shipping department Assure all daily data entry is in lab notebook & excel log for all testing results Manage all lab supply orders in a timely fashion Back up to all label approval checks Investigate/troubleshoot when an item is out of specification Responsible for day-to-day operation of the QA Lab Responsible for Passover runs and USDA Inspections Responsible for QA Morning Stand up Meetings Assist with Transfers from one Warehouse to another Assist with Shelf-Life extension Requests Assist on all Customer Complaint requests: Investigate/troubleshoot and a resolution to CAPA's Assist with 3rd party Audits Create work orders as needed for lab maintenance Assist in All other duties as needed per company demands Report any issues/concerns directly to a Supervisor, Manager and Director of QA Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS /SKILLS:
4+ years of lead or quality supervisory for food manufacturing. Prior leadership experience is required.
The candidate must have demonstrated quality leadership and people management skills and exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must have a general knowledge of appropriate manufacturing quality assurance and control methods, processes, and equipment. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are a must Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter and self-motivated. Ability to work as a team player. Willingness to work overtime as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be able and willing to perform other duties or tasks as needed.
